I think it was against these that Phillips started at Anfield and got MOTM if I remember correctly. Antonio was out that day though. He'll be a handful for whoever we have back there.

Promising signs in an attacking sense in the last couple of games that gives me confidence we'll win this one

Rumours that Mane is injured

Are you fucking kidding me xD

So many FPL players not playing - Stones, Sterling, Saiss, Saka, Mane...

Fancy West Ham to get something today.

Me too. West Ham at set-pieces with the likes of Soucek could be quite threatening. Antonio up against their defence on the break as well...

Sounds like it's come from Andy Robertson transferring him out of his FPL teamxD that doesn't necessarily mean he's injured. Could just be starting from the bench

Think you need a new forward mate.

One of the CBs can play there.

This West Ham side have been as good as they have been this year because of their defence, they don’t have an amazing forward line but their strikers only need to score 1 goal, 2 goals a game to win it. Antonio against Phillips looks like a missmatch, hoping Benrahma gets to play and grabs a goal.

Lingard didn’t register in time on Friday, otherwise he would have been captaining this West Ham side today.

Have West Ham named him club captain? Not saying he wouldn't be a good choice I just haven't heard that?

They should do. He’s an outstanding young talent.

If he doesn’t win West Ham’s young player of the year I will be very disappointed

Agreed about the talent. I really don't know too much about his leadership skills though myself?

Led from the front at United with numerous outstanding performances. Was sad to see him leave if I’m honest.

Apart from that last chance when Origi slid in, he looks dogshit. I don’t know what he actually does? He’s a big lad but doesn’t bully the defenders, he’s got a bit of speed but he wasn’t prepared to run onto a through ball when he’s up against a 36 year old defender and he’s slow to press. I’m fed up of him only getting himself up for the biggest matches. No consistency there whatsoever and he needs to go in the summer.

If we had Mane or Firmino up front with a bit more energy we would be ahead here. I’d even take Shaqiri off and bring Jones to play in the front three.

Tbh, this game is there for the taking for either side. It's like the classic boxing match built up only for two fighters to be afraid to punch and just hug eachother to death.

West Ham especially are playing a bit like they are afraid to lose. Like they think one mistake and it's done. They need to be a bit braver and go for it because they have the threat to hurt Liverpool.

Where as Liverpool haven't really looked like penetrating West Ham at any point, they need to change things a bit. Origi hasn't been great but he's done more than Shaqiri at least in work rate.

Shaqiri has offered the square root of fuck all, he's a passenger at the moment. Firmino must surely come on.

Couple of times a cross has gone in for him and he's looked to block off the defender instead of challenging to win it. Much like the Burnley game it feels like we're just waiting to get to about 60-70 minutes so we can take him off and get someone good on

I miss Jota
