I'm reluctant to think that we've turned a corner after the win midweek because there's been a few times recently where I thought we might have done so but it wasn't the case. Having Fabinho back in midfield gives me greater confidence though.

Winning is important if you want to keep slim hopes of top four alive but honestly, I would take just not getting beat here.

Wolves are tailor made to beat Liverpool if Liverpool aren't on point. Wasteful sloppy Liverpool who still play a high line, will be torn to bits on the counter from those silly turn overs while Wolves soak up those wasteful attacks.

Good test to see if Liverpool are back on song.

Well, if Liverpool are going to start finding some form, being away from home is the answer at the moment.

I'm actually pretty confident they will get a result tomorrow, especially if Liverpool go with roughly that same side as v Leipzig.

With Fabinho back in midfield, I don't see Neves and Moutinho dictating play as much.

But they have Adama Traore who can't finish his dinner, or serve it for that matter...

Wolves on their day are. Wolves are another side who haven't been their usual selves too often this season

They really do miss Jimenez and Jota. Losing one of them perhaps would have been easier to tolerate for them, but both is huge.

There's only so much they can rely on Neto.

Also begs the question that if Neto was to leave this summer, what the fuck would they do xD

Yeah of course there's reasons for their drop off and Jimenez is a huge miss for them. Just found it weird there was a couple of posts as if we were talking about peak Wolves up against this version of Liverpool.

Have you learned nothing these last few weeks? Everyone is peaked vs Liverpool.

Fair point haha

I think anyone thinking we’re back just because that Red Bull side is dogshite is sorely mistaken.

Fabinho in midfield and we’ve got our best chance at winning though. So hopefully we see that again

I dont think we're going to have it easy for a while even if Fab goes back into midfield because theres still the issue of a leaky defense and while Nat showed that he can command a space if necessary its not going to work against a lot of teams that wont feel the pressure to score and attack. Getting Jota back in time for this is good because he does give the team some energy going up and tends to get into good spaces as well.

Happy to see that team again. Wouldn’t mind seeing Keita getting minutes early in second half.

All this talk of Haaland on MNF makes me really want us to sign Haaland 😂

Fair play Mane staying on his feet.

There’s been three times in the last few weeks where he should have went down.
