I know we have this every time but the TV picks are absolutely daft again here. Newcastle v Cambridge and Tottenham v Morecambe are surely more worth broadcasting than Leeds v West Ham, Villa v Man Utd and even Hull v Everton?

I think we'll go out. We've got so many out it will make even the Liverpool XI we named seem strong. We've got 9 players available and the position distribution is awful. Vestergaard the only fit senior centre back. All of our strikers out. A lot of the midfield and wingers are OK though. We're going to name a ridiculous side.

Going back to Vestergaard this signing has been a disaster. It's not just that he's been really poor, which he has, but we paid a decent amount for him in the summer, we hardly use him because he is clearly not rated / trusted by the management, which has led to us overplaying the likes of Evans and Soyuncu which has unsurprisingly led to them being injured.

Evans out until April and Vardy out until March. I sadly think we've seen the best of them now.

Only thing that gives me hope is I feel like such a mess might gee the crowd up a bit like it did Liverpool. Maybe Watford will name a really crap side as well.

One thing that will make it vaguely worth watching hopefully is that there's no reason we won't see our two new full backs make their debuts. I hope Benitez doesn't go needlessly conservative and bring Patterson off the bench after starting Coleman or something, just get on with it. None of this Begovic shite either. Calvert-Lewin said to be doubtful after irritating his injury on his return on Sunday. Rondon starting can fuck off.

Pickford

Patterson Holgate Godfrey Mykolenko

Allan Gomes Doucoure

Gordon Simms Gray

Watford supposedly naming a horrible XI as well. We may be OK.

I want to think there'll be a bit of a siege mentality with this farcical injury situation. Hope the crowd are up for it.

One of those rare times I remind people that Cambridge Utd are my second team. Not going to pretend I'm a super fan, not been down there for a decade since my Mum stopped running the club website and couldn't name a starting eleven from the current squad but I I still follow them on Twitter so make sure you congratulate me if we cause an upset here

Kidderminster beating Reading.

Few 'cupsets' floating about!

Hartlepool beating Blackpool earlier. Huddersfield knocking out Burnley.

Cambridge holding strong against Newcastle.

Wigan beating Blackburn and Boreham Wood leading over Wimbledon.
