What's plausible about it? No way someone can cross Putin like that and escape with his life without cutting some sort of deal, I don't for a second believe that Putin would allow this group of mercenaries that by all accounts is a far more effective fighting force than the actual Russian military fuck off to Belarus if they didn't have some kind of weird plan. Then there's Putin making his own comments about Poland and their involvement in Ukraine. It just seems we're at the next step of Russia escalating things because they've backed themselves into a corner but can't afford to make themselves appear weaker than they already have.

But the last time Wagner forces encountered NATO forces in Syria, it was an absolute slaughter for the Wagner soldiers. Do they really want to take on Poland, who can probably wipe the floor with them without having the remaining NATO allies? Is Russia trying to take the world to the brink of WW3 and then back down from it and claim they saved humanity from nuclear Armageddon? Is Putin trying to retire but he knows dictators can't really retire, so he's trying to end up with his own St. Helena Napoleon scenario where he can live in exile without worry of the next Russian autocrat coming after his wealth?

That is all correct we all know Wagner is under Russian umbrella but invoking NATO article against Russia or Belarus for actions of a private military which doesn't exist on paper technically is tricky.

I think Wagner would do hit and run border raids in Poland if any.

I don't even think Poland needs to invoke NATO to give Wagner, Belarus, or even Russia a hard time in response to any attacks. I think Wagner would also need to worry about the fact there's UK and US troops stationed in Poland, attack the wrong bases and they could be biting off way more they can chew.

I just don't see what kind of end-game they'd be working towards by doing that, unless he's trying to push for Prigozhin to get killed in Poland.

Lukashenko ‘struggling to keep Wagner troops from attacking Poland’

what are these morons up to now?

Ooooh rookie mistake. Attacking Poland never ends well in the long run.

So much overhype around this bandwagon.

BRICS: Even as an economic alliance its a motley. Fact that Putin couldn't go to the summit in South Africa over fears of arrest is enough to say about this 'alliance'

SCO: Has great potential if it includes a military action like article 5

de-dollarization: It has started to take hits but still a long way to go. Some currencies like UAE dirham are pegged to dollar as well so doesn't matter if they trade in their own currencies.

France in Africa: Agreed, China Russia Turkey are all increasing their footprint in Africa so France is retreating a bit

Saudi dumping US: They are not. MBS is only showing muscles because Biden tried to prosecute him over Kashoghi murder, if some friendly POTUS like Trump comes, back to normal relations. As I said before Gulf states and West are like couple who divorce, bitch about each other but still keep dating secretly.

Turkey buying Russian weapons: Turkey enjoys great geopolitical flexibility due to geography. Nothing new. They can piss off both Russia and West if they want.

India siding with Russia: Too much capital and personal connections of Indian elite and regular people in UK US to let go of them. Military they always had good relations with Russia.

Worked out okay for Russia in the long-run in WW2 didn't it? People even forgot about the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

the false alliance between dictators.  Hitler was ultimately sunk by his choice of allies.   Italy being incompetent needing Germany to direct troops to a theatre they wanted to avoid manpower deployment in North Africa and Greece but due to the fascist Italian military being substandard and Mussolini being a petulant child Germany had to carry them.

the alliance with Japan was intended to attack Russia from TWO fronts but the japs got absolutely handed their asses led to Hitler signing a pact with Russia for non aggression which he reneged on.   Japan then returned the favour by betraying Germany signing their own pact with Russia.

roll on operation barbarossa and the beginning of the end for Germany.   The thing about it was that their was no need to attack Russia, but Hitler was a paranoid individual who like himself chose to make friends with dictators and despots with the same insecurities, the unholy alliance of mistrust and narcissism.

Bit like Putin and Xi & Khamenei.

khamenei is definitely the Mussolini

Dunno if Mussolini ever supplied Hitler's forces with something they'd come to rely on in the war though, so weirdly more competent than Mussolini... despite being an incompetent fool. It would be great if Khamenei would have the same fate Mussolini and his family had though, I don't think there's anyone in the world more deserving of an undignified, disrespectful, and brutal death tbh.

1.thumb.png.1e56ec8b818e5841665aabffaef3b1d5.png

One of Russia's leading military figures, Gen Sergei Surovikin, has reportedly lost his job as air force chief after weeks of speculation about his disappearance from public view.

Ria Novosti agency said he had been relieved of his post, citing a source.

For several months Gen Surovikin was in charge of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine but he has not been seen since the Wagner mutiny in June.

Yevgeny Prigozhin on passenger list of plane in fatal crash, says Russia | Yevgeny Prigozhin | The Guardian

The reports are that Prigozhin has died in a plane crash. I think that it is quite obvious that it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. The Russian authorities this time seeking to vary their methods of eliminating opposition, not the usual falling out of a window accident or lacing someone's breakfast with Novichok.

MSNBC shilling hard for Lockheed Martin and whatever Raytheon are called now.   Trying to redefine a loss and failure as victory.  The host asked the guest how the counter offensive taking 0.25% of the territory Russia took at the cost of severe losses to Ukraine and hundreds of billions lost in equipment as reasons for loss of public support.

the guest went on to say that NATO should step in and propose an end to the war and it will be seen as a loss to Putin, how is asking for terms a failure to Putin if anything they are making him look right all along, the West were violating terms and the West had grand designs to steal Russia, why you ask, Russia holds 90% of the world's stock necessary for green energy components, Russia holds deep riches in every valuable metal and the globalist want their dirty hands on it.

it is always nice to get neutral military commentary and Cappys channel provides good unbiased review of tactics and battle footage, while he wanted Ukraine to win he has recently come out with a vid that discusses why the Ukraine offensive is a failure, in there he spoke about the West downplaying Russian competence and making them out to be drunkards, Russia's defensive setup is nothing short of military perfection that restricted movement and set up kill zones which lead to another vid on the combat effectiveness of tanks and helicopters in the face of mobile manheld anti tank and anti air.

Despite losing 70 attack choppers Russia have had success in taking out Ukrainian vehicles from beyond visual sight using electronic warfare to paint targets and use anti tank missiles to eliminate targets at range, Russia have also got sophisticated mobile surface to air that has reduced drone attacks.  The final factor is in a war of attrition outlasting an enemy is vital and Russia's stockpile of 3700 T72s, 2700 T90A and 7000 BTR90s which are essentially free out last Ukraine losing 250bn worth in HIMRs, and modern 40mn dollar MBTs, the same old Russian doctrine of cheap in numbers works, the same tactic that saw a piece of crap T34 utterly destroy the German panzer division, Panzer 4s, Tigers, Panthers, King tigers all fucked up.

Uhh mate it’s RTX now lmao. Wait till people start googling that neat black sun logo being used by militias.

https://www.rtx.com/raytheon?gclid=Cj0KCQiAyKurBhD5ARIsALamXaE-3iK9rbbsN4dqLRqGkFUyPiXIz4e94ktvocl9Jj6S2EdXvjW3fM8aAqAmEALw_wcB

It literally says Raytheon though. RTX has been their stock ticker for… as long as I’ve been investing. Looks like they just had a corporate restructure and created a holding company called RTX, but Raytheon the company still exists and they openly call themselves Raytheon.

No mate, it literally not called Raytheon anymore. The company was merged and renamed RTX. It says Raytheon, it still is Raytheon, but all official reasons, it’s not Raytheon, it is RTX, as Raytheon folded in 2020. I will not budge on this, orange clapped your arse on this lmao

RTX is the modern day Raytheon though lol, the subsidiaries are new. It’s the same company as Raytheon.

It’s them and the people who owned Collins Airspace. Raytheon still makes bombs, missiles, and satellites. Now there’s separation between them and aviation.

The Telegraph reporting that funding for Ukraine is going to run out and public support has waned.

Vitali Klitchcko now mayor of Kiev says public support for Zelensky is low, with Ukrainians believing they have been played.

Russia was prepared to accept Ukraine's proposal for peace, this involved Ukraine walking back on NATO, Boris Johnson was part of many eastern dignitaries that scuppered the deal on "unlimited support".  the west lied and Ukrainians died.

This is a big fat L for the West with Germany longing for that nice cheap gas back, it's just a pity the US destroyed Nordstream, now they have to settle for expensive American gas that comes on ships in lower quantity and much longer time.
