I imagine they'll do it like they did Fallout 4 - there will be a reveal of the game, and the game will be released a few months after. That said, I do believe they will do something similar to how the announced Fallout (as Gonzo suggested). With the new power of the Xbox One X maybe they'll announce it at E3 2018? Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted October 24, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 24, 2017 You'll get Doom 2, a Wolf Expansion pack and a Fallout game before a new ES imo. They seem terribly invested at the moment in the FPS genre and you can't blame them with the acclaim that Wolf got at the presses. Plus they've also just released The Evil Within 2 so if anything there might be an announcement in the Winter of 2018 and then a release before the summer for either Fallout or the new ES i'm still thinking Fallout comes before ES just for platform reach. I would if I had a Switch. I have been thinking of getting it depending on any deals that may crop up as the new Mario was the one that might push me into getting one. That or I will wait until the new year.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted October 29, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 29, 2017 So I have clocked a few hours in on Mario Odyssey and have to say I like how the mechanics work with Cappy. At first it seems a bit weird and what they say about detaching the joycons to play the game is so true because some of the more complex moves like whirling or low hitting seem counter intuitive on a regular controller (you dont need it to progress). Its a great game and definitely a AAA title for me but is it better than BotW? I don't think so because while it has a lot of nice little features in it there is still something about LoZ that was better than this from an adventure perspective. Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 29, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 29, 2017 Just dusted off the PS3 with the intention of polishing off the Ratchet and Clank games during my half term break. Still a quality series of games even after completing the first game about 20 times over the years.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted November 3, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 3, 2017 Finished Mario Odyssey and have to say for all the hype it did live up to great gameplay and generally good after-game play as well. Some of the levels are so well designed I was taken aback by how much you have to do. The best part of it all is Cappy's various actions to make attacking levels so varied based on how you like to play it. Definite must-buy for anyone with a Switch. Still don't think its better than LoZ

Bluebird Hewitt
After finishing Stick of Truth, I've gone back to finish the Crash N Sane trilogy with Warped, then hoping to start either Sonic Mania or Fractured But Whole.
Panflute
Got backt to my second playthrough of the Mass Effect trilogy. Currently at the start of 3, which is the best of the series imo.

Guest Cannabis
Just spent the past two hours playing Origins on the X which is absolutely beautiful. As always, five minutes of my play-time was following the story with the other 90% spent dicking around in the open world .

This is part of the reason it took me months to finish Metal Gear I just didn't care for the actual story after a while

Haven't played a GTA game in ages because I know that once I start it will become something I just occasionally touch just to roam the open world. Bluebird Hewitt
Finished the Crash trilogy in its entirety (whoever thought it was a good idea to add relics to Crash 1 with those annoying as fuck bridge levels deserves several slaps) and aiming to start South Park: Fractured But Whole at some point while continuing the bloody idiot journey on FM18.

Maybe the next generation they should do a remaster just for the graphics, but I'd rather they just focus on making a great new game. Andromeda had some good ideas but it was such a step down from the originals.
