God is Haaland
Vettel is already oon his 5th turbo, which means that he can only use the best(newest) one during the races. Very good qualifying from him. He was only 50ms behind Hamilton. Hats off to Alonso. Most impressive performance.

He would have gotten P1 if he didn't fuck up the last chicane. He was like half a second faster than Lewis in the middle sector.

Moderator Tommy Posted May 14, 2017 Moderator Share Posted May 14, 2017 Vettel's overtake on Bottas was sensational. Nothing more than P2 was reachable today as Bottas blocked Vettel for quite some time so Lewis can catch up. Very entertaining race. DeadLinesman
Excellent drive from Hamilton, and the change in strategy paid off. Lauda must have been fuming

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted May 25, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted May 25, 2017 Stroll has been a massive disappointment so far. A good start in F1 is everything and I genuinely believe careers of these young drivers can be swung on whether they get a top 10 finish in their first 2-3 races or whether they have a couple of crashes. DeadLinesman
Embarrassing from Ferrari, but it's to be expected. "You deserve this" on the radio from his engineers. Fuck off. Raikonnen was told to fall into line and he duly obliged.

Seb was clearly faster and saving his tyres for the exact moment when Kimi boxed. It worked out brilliantly. As much as I like Kimi and would have liked to see him winning, there's no doubt that Seb was just the faster driver today. That Wehrlein crash was scary. Glad he's okay. You're a Vettel fanboy, it's your only downfall when it comes to F1 Thomas. Read the reports, all the media were shaking their heads in the box when he pitted first and then stayed out for 5 laps extra. Why box Kimi knowing he's coming back out behind traffic? It gives Vettel the clean air and advantage and Ferrari knew it, they're not stupid. And at no point was he clearly faster. At all. Kimi's reaction said it all at the end.
