I've most likely missed something, but why are there big gaps between prem games?

It's their 'winter break' they give to teams. Think they've done it for a couple of seasons.

Lots of chances in a wide open Burnley/Luton game, but neither side seems to have that final touch to put the ball in the back of the net.

Of course right in the middle of typing Burnley score.

Happy that Luton equalised but Burnley's keeper has clearly been blocked there by the other Luton player.

Most other games that's called a foul so it's the lack of consistency rearing it's head again.

You're never going to get consistentcy over what are subjective decisions. I thought it was probably a foul but don't think it was enough of one to over turn the original decision.

Why is this VAR call taking so long ffs. He was offside, and the only reason he was nearly onside is because Danjuma was fouled.

Great finish from Moreno and disappointing from our lot to switch off regardless. Play to the whistle.

Absolutely desperate to find something to allow it to stand.

I'd have thought it'd be for a foul as opposed to offside. The offside they chose the guy didn't even cross the ball in. But it's quite clearly a foul anyway. Didn't need to take that long to disallow.

Calvert-Lewin has to score there. I know he doesn't get much service and sacrifices a lot for the team but he's also not doing nearly well enough with the chances he does get and it's increasingly costing us now. I saw during the week his goals scored compared to the xG of his shots this season is the worst in the league.

Not great, not terrible. The first half looks very different if Calvert-Lewin converts that chance.

And also if Diaby scores shortly before that.

Not been the best game to watch. Probably only one goal to win it.

Proper tackle by Tarkowski. Not sure what Villa's problem is with that.

And he gets booked. Like I said, Coote is just guessing now. Bowing down to the pressure.
