Nice strong set up tonight. We’ve been caught offside twice so far when we should have held the runs, one a goal and the other should have been a goal. Good play from Spurs but they are opening themselves up too.

Werner is a problem down the left

17 mins for Man City to break the deadlock. Alvarez with a heart 9 from close range. Weirdly Burnley's defender choosing not to intercept it in front of his goal...

Lewis-Potter has just scuffed a chance at 2-0.

So far we have restricted Spurs to long range shots but we need to take the chances we create

1-0 at half time. Should be 2-0 but I’ll take a lead. We’ve outplayed and outthought Spurs so far, they’ve been too predictable and our back 3 have swept everything up.

Still they have the quality to change the result in the second half so anything could happen.

Maupay up to his tricks today, love the man. Bentancur giving it some and Kulusevski gave Toney a nudge on the floor before his yellow with Maupay. Both sides giving it in that regard, but we are definitely back to our shithousing selves.

3-0 Rodri. Like his CL final goal. Game over just after half time.

Amdouni has a brilliant chance to either shoot or square it. Opts for the former and blazes it over.

Just what happens against a team as good as Spurs, they were too narrow first half and easy to defend. But once they get that pace and width going, so hard to play against.

What exactly is Chilwell's game tonight? See how many times you can try to simulate before you get a red?

Chilwell looked all over the place for that goal. Way too tight for Jota for no reason and then goes to ground again.

Might be bailed out by VAR though.

As shit as Chelsea have been and done themselves no favours, Tierney is giving Liverpool every single 50/50. He’s such a Homer.

Have to say this is true. But, having said all that Chelsea really haven't been all that troubling and Conor Bradley is having another good game.

Doku is fast becoming the new Adama Traore on this performance.

Pace, power, skill, strength. But absolutely shite end product.

Is there some sort of history between Maupay and Maddison? Just seemed a bit random xD.
