Watching Forest do so well is a sickener. We did the double over them last season and finished ahead of them despite a points deduction. They've not made many notable signings or changed manager.

Big things can happen if you come into a new season without a mentality of already being resigned to a relegation fight, and a manager who is actually capable of progressing a group of players. Slightly lower in the table but the same applies to Brentford almost word for word. Both have pretty much already guaranteed safety while we look forward to another season of being allergic to anything above 15th in the league.

We have a horrible schedule coming up throughout December and it'll be a miracle if we manage to cause a single upset. Dyche will have the mentality that we expect to lose to all of the top teams. The chances you see us do what Forest did at Anfield, what Bournemouth did to City, what Ipswich are doing at Spurs this afternoon, are the lowest of any club in the league.

When does the question get genuinely asked about Ange? I don't think it's controversial to say that an unpopular or unglamorous manager would be the subject of a lot more media scrutiny with the same results.

Spurs are only 3 points of a champions league place.

In to the bottom three then. Looking at Wolves fixtures until the end of the year we can safely assume we will be bottom two sooner rather than later.

If we go down we only have ourselves to blame. I'm sure there's a famous Einstein quote about insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting a different outcome. Third summer in a row where we haven't replaced our best player and not addressed the lack of squad depth. We shouldn't be looking at teams like Fulham and Bournemouth and being jealous of the depth on there bench after ELEVEN SEASONS in the Premier League.

Fingers crossed that Dyche and Cooper don't grind out some unexpected results or this might be a task too far. I didn't think we'd be cut adrift of 17th by Christmas when I made that comment after the transfer window, but this is feeling very much like Southampton at the end of the Hassanhutl reign. People speculating they've got too much about them to go down until suddenly it looks too late to make up ground.

History repeating itself from two years ago IMO. We are abundantly bad, in the three worst teams in the league but the table doesn't yet reflect it and our decision makers will once again fail to see it, and act too late.

I've seen enough from Cooper. He hasn't got a clue.

Man Utd fans must think we're an absolute joke of a club. We must be the only ones in the country scared of going to that ground in 2024.

3-0 today. 5-2 last week. 3-0 in 2023. It's absolutely pathetic.

1 point separates 3rd and 9th and 4 points separates 3 and 13th. To me it seems like he’s really just squeaking by with how tight things are in the table at the moment.

I think he’ll be under real pressure by Christmas if Spurs don’t have a positive run.
