He's just a poor referee Quote

Dr. Gonzo Posted November 9 Posted November 9 That was more comfortable than I thought it would be. What a start from Slot though. Quote

That's half the problem, Pep doesn't like spending. all's i want is Wirtz, Musiala, Valverde & Rodrygo but oh no, Pep's in the bargain bin for Alvarez, Echeverri, Gundogan on a free and the academy for Lewis, Pusey, Palmer, Mcatee etc. really hope we get a cheque book manager next time now we can spend what we want 1 Quote

OrangeKhrush Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Liverpool are deservedly favourites now and should go on to win the league. I think anything less would be disappointing. Arsenal lack goals and City look disjointed, the loss of Rodri has exposed a lot more flaws in that team, selling Palmer and Alvarez was stupid. Quote

Anything for Parish to deflect from the fact his transfer policy of waiting until deadline day to try and save 50p has left us with a lop sided squad and poor depth after 10+ years of Premier League money. Saying Liverpool should go on to win the league at this point is ridiculous. Let's see where we are after we've played them in a few weeks 1 Quote

Let's see where we are after we've played them in a few weeks I think given City's recent history, they'll remain favourites for me - especially when we consider how early we are in the season. That said, you are the team bang in form and are in pole position to at least mount a serious charge. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted November 10 Author Administrator Posted November 10 I can see Liverpool extending their lead by Christmas. Probably extend it before they both play each other, too, at the start of Dec. Quote
Reluctant Striker Posted November 10 Posted November 10 (edited) With Villa I think it's mostly the transfer activities that have been finally impacting. Duran was getting lots of attention for his multiple late winners off the bench. Rogers has been getting England potential type reviews. But it's often been a whole new midfield pair & plenty of the others just not quite performing yet. Palace (h), Juventus (h) & Chelsea (a) feels like a point where something needs to start properly clicking. If we are going to stay in & around the race for a top 4 spot. Dave Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Yeah this title race is far from done. Man City don't seem to skip a beat in the second half of the season, and if Arsenal win today they've only got Liverpool as a tough away game left within 7 points off top place. Quote

As you said, right now. we've been here before with City. We all know they're capable of winning about 15 in a row at some point. Our best hope is that we beat them at Anfield and open up a big enough gap, Liverpool keep winning and that makes them think it's all but over and the focus on the Champions League instead, which is what happened in 19/20. Administrator Stan Posted November 10 Author Administrator Posted November 10 Vardy out. Gonna be a long two hours. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 10 Subscriber Posted November 10 There's a difference between saying Liverpool are favourites and saying it's a done deal. For me it's probably Liverpool 45%, Man City 40% and Arsenal 15% or something like that. Quote
