Liverpool counter at insane speed. It's a joke xD

Nunez taken that well to be fair. Thought referee would blow up for the free kick on Salah but he's done well to see the advantage.

He was saying 'no foul' so I don't think he'd have given a foul if Nunez hadn't got on the end of it. He's just a poor referee

Really?! Thought he signalled advantage. Surely if Nunez misses it that gets checked on VAR and brought back?

Coote is bad.

I think he should go back and book him if he's playing advantage shouldn't he?

Yeah that's what I thought.

Game over. Salah is electric.

Pau Torres also a diver.

That's half the problem, Pep doesn't like spending. all's i want is Wirtz, Musiala, Valverde & Rodrygo but oh no, Pep's in the bargain bin for Alvarez, Echeverri, Gundogan on a free and the academy for Lewis, Pusey, Palmer, Mcatee etc. really hope we get a cheque book manager next time now we can spend what we want

City never kick into gear until they're 6+ points off it anyway xD.

We do normally take this time of the year off 😂 but it's different this time, Pep's system doesn't work without Rodri and he's out for a year

Liverpool are deservedly favourites now and should go on to win the league.  I think anything less would be disappointing.

Arsenal lack goals and City look disjointed, the loss of Rodri has exposed a lot more flaws in that team,  selling Palmer and Alvarez was stupid.

Wonder if there'll be a decision made if you drop into the bottom 3.

He probably will. Anything for Parish to deflect from the fact his transfer policy of waiting until deadline day to try and save 50p has left us with a lop sided squad and poor depth after 10+ years of Premier League money.

What? It's only November. Saying Liverpool should go on to win the league at this point is ridiculous. Let's see where we are after we've played them in a few weeks

I think given City's recent history, they'll remain favourites for me - especially when we consider how early we are in the season.

That said, you are the team bang in form and are in pole position to at least mount a serious charge.

I can see Liverpool extending their lead by Christmas.

Probably extend it before they both play each other, too, at the start of Dec.

With Villa I think it's mostly the transfer activities that have been finally impacting. Duran was getting lots of attention for his multiple late winners off the bench. Rogers has been getting England potential type reviews. But it's often been a whole new midfield pair & plenty of the others just not quite performing yet.

Palace (h), Juventus (h) & Chelsea (a) feels like a point where something needs to start properly clicking. If we are going to stay in & around the race for a top 4 spot.

I agree. We have to beat them at Anfield in a few weeks for me to really start to believe.

Yeah this title race is far from done. Man City don't seem to skip a beat in the second half of the season, and if Arsenal win today they've only got Liverpool as a tough away game left within 7 points off top place.

Man City have a month of disjointed performances,  they look more likely than Liverpool to drop points right now.

As you said, right now. we've been here before with City. We all know they're capable of winning about 15 in a row at some point. Our best hope is that we beat them at Anfield and open up a big enough gap, Liverpool keep winning and that makes them think it's all but over and the focus on the Champions League instead, which is what happened in 19/20.

There's a difference between saying Liverpool are favourites and saying it's a done deal.

For me it's probably Liverpool 45%, Man City 40% and Arsenal 15% or something like that.
