What TV Series Are You Watching?

I only recently got into watching Arcane.. probably in the last three months and I dont really know why I waited as long as I did. I played league for a long, long time. I started in season 2 back in the day and probably played up until the last handful of years. I just havent really been into anime or animated shows much at all but Cyerpunk Edgerunners brought me back in because I fucking love that world and lore. Now Arcane isnt anime really in that sense but man Im glad I got around to it eventually, even if you know nothing about league as a standalone it holds up fantastically well. Its got alot of heart in the story and enough easter eggs for those that do know some of the background and characters. Season 2 just dropped last week and their trickling the release in the form of acts with 3 episodes per weekend. Man is it ever good, I couldnt help but binge all 3 each weekend and im now sitting here eagerly awaiting the final 3 to drop next weekend.

Finished The Penguin. It was great and I'm not sure how many were expecting it to be great. Fantastic performances all round.

@6666 @Bluewolf on rotten tomatoes the penguin has critic and audience scores in the 90s so everyone seems to like it. 

I'm not always very patient with tv shows but can be as long as each episode is moving along the story a bit. Do you need to be patient to watch it or not?

I'm switching this again. Out goes Narcos Mexico, in comes a mini-series called The Night Of. Has anybody seen it? Is only 8 episodes, but fuck me it's good. @nudge, I think you'll like, is on the slower side with tense dialogue. @Stan @Mel81x @Azeem - The main character is an apna.

Yeah the Night of is a real gem. Great story, great acting. I remember I came home after hockey one night to my better half watching it and she was like half way through, I sat down and was glued to it right away even missing half the context before starting it over

Adding it into my list!

 

I have so many series I like, it is really impossible for me to choose a Top 5. I think only LOST and Dark will always be there, the other 3 spots are not fixed.
