Eco Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 What a perfect counter by Portland, as they go up 1-0 on LA Galaxy.

Eco Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Van Damme, LA's captain, gets 2 Yellows in 3 minutes, and we are about 30 minutes into the game. FYI, both tackles were clean, Timber are just diving all over the place. Unreal.

Guest Cannabis Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 David Beckham's Miami Franchise gets the green light: Major League Soccer will approve the David Beckham-backed Miami franchise "in the coming months". The announcement comes three years after the former England captain exercised an option in his LA Galaxy contract to own a franchise. Having won a court battle over the purchase of land for a 25,000-seater stadium, Beckham's group can proceed with becoming an MLS expansion team. The league is planning to increase the number of teams from 22 to 28. MLS spokesperson Dan Courtemanche told BBC Sport: "We look forward to working with David, Todd Boehly [majority owner] and their partners to finalise their expansion plan. "David and his partners have committed a significant amount of time and resources to put everything in place to bring Miami the elite-level soccer team and stadium it richly deserves. We expect to make an official announcement to launch a new Miami expansion club in the coming months." The other partners involved in the as-yet-unnamed team include former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller, Bolivian-American businessman Marcelo Claure and sports executive Tim Leiweke.
Danny Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Such a soulless way to go about things but necessary in America
Guest Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 The MLS is on course to become bigger than the Argentina Primera Division. Way too many fucking teams.
Honey Honey Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 It's like an episode of Ballers, just substituting Dwayne Johnson for David Beckham

Administrator Stan Posted November 12, 2017 Administrator Posted November 12, 2017 I love that he had 'own a franchise' in his own contract What a legend.
Smiley Culture Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 How is the MLS going to work long-term with an ever expanding list of clubs joining their ranks? A two-league system or two leagues (maybe East/West) running simultaneously next to each other with a play-off competition?
Administrator Stan Posted November 12, 2017 Administrator Posted November 12, 2017 hope he has the book thrown at him. before he has the chance to pay anyone off. wouldn't surprise me if he tried to give her a gagging order.
