Absolutely fuming.

Sold Bobby Reid (arguably our best player) to Fulham for as much as we paid for him last season (about £10m), signed Marlon Pack and a striker that has scored 1 goal in an admittedly injury hit spell (Isaac Vassell).

Fanfuckingtastic. Mid table mediocrity at best now, especially with a strike force that, possibly bar Glatzel, can't hit a barn door from one yard out.

Unless we've been informed to pay the Sala fee by FIFA, I'm at a loss as two how we have not just weakened ourselves badly, but still haven't sorted out key positions.

EDIT: The deal for Reid is actually a season loan rather than a permanent move, which is a little better but still begs the question as to why we're strengthening a rival.

We have fined Nikos Karelis on a free (one year contract with an optional second). Previously of Gent and PAOK

@Fusion know anything about him?

He used to be a good upcoming talent few years ago. Good athlete with a strong left foot but unfortunately injuries have held him back.

If he can get a good number of games without getting injured, he can be a really good option for you.

Grimsby have signed Sunderland's Ethan Robson on loan until January. We had Embleton on loan last season and he did really well so I'm hoping Robson does just as well. Seen Robson play before and he's got a few goals from freekicks which could be useful for us.

Rolando Aarons moves from Newcastle to Wycombe on loan. Surely too good for League One?!

I think it's Gary Monk's ambition to manage each of every team in the Championship. Tick them all off.

Leeds are close to securing a five-year extension to 23-year-old midfielder Kalvin Phillips' contract after the player was the subject of interest from Aston Villa and Burnley in pre-season. (Telegraph)

Strong rumours going round of us getting Lewis Holtby on a free. Midfield is hardly our weakest link but has the potential to be a cracking move on our behalf. Can't remember much of his time in England, he seemed to disappear at Spurs (maybe @Storts can help?), but get the impression he was decent over at his most recent club Hamburg.

Will be really disappointed if this happens. Midfield is easily our weakest area and we were linked with him in the window. Not sure if it's a wage issue or something else but we are crying for quality.

Confirmed on a two year deal. Could be a massive gamechanger for our fortunes this year.
