Ups and Downs

Wolves can, finally, win promotion after throwing daft money at their team and becoming Jorge Mendez FC.

Bury, if my Maths is correct, can be relegated this weekend from League One and Accrington Stanley could win promotion from League Two. A hell of an achievement by them when promotion is confirmed.

By my maths too Macclesfield can be promoted back in the Football League if they beat Leyton Orient at home tomorrow (early kick off) and Tranmere fail to beat Aldershot at home later on in the day.

(Trust you all missed me...)

Birmingham vs Sheff Utd
Bolton vs Wolves
Sunderland vs Burton

Obviously both would want a win to enhance their slim chances of survival but it could just depend on Birmingham and Bolton's results.

If Birmingham and Bolton both win, and Sunderland/Burton draw, the latter 2 are relegated.

If Birmingham and Bolton draw, and Burton win, Sunderland will be relegated.

Ideally, Sunderland and Burton would want at most only one of Birmingham/Bolton to win just incase it doesn't go to plan for them.

I appreciate you giving us an extra game this weekend but I really don't think it would help us stay up...

Championship
Wolves can seal the title if they match Cardiff's result

League One
Wigan and Blackburn can be promoted if Shrewsbury don't win

League Two
Accrington Stanley will be declared as Champions if they win and Luton lose

I hope Shrewsbury go up for the simple fact that we bought Woods from them.

As much as I'd find it funny to see "10 times better" Brum and Harlee Dean go down, then taking points off of Sheff Utd would be great.

Shrewsbury have done really well but having seen them live twice this season against us I can tell you they are a petty poor side (not sure what that says about the rest of the league or how good us and Wigan have been this season). I cannot stand their keeper, Dean Henderson, and purely due to him I hope they don't go up as he is an arrogant twat.

So far we have the following confirmed;

Championship

Promoted: Wolves (Champions)

Play-Offs: Aston Villa, Middlesbrough.

Relegated: Sunderland.

League One

Promoted: Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers.

Play-Offs: Shrewsbury Town, Rotherham United.

Relegated: Bury, Milton Keynes Dons.

League Two

Promoted: Accrington Stanley (Champions), Luton Town, Wycombe Wanderers.

Play-Offs: Exeter City, Notts County.

Relegated: Chesterfield.

Twelve things to be sorted out on the final day of the season, with just one automatic promotion space left to be filled.
