Moderator Tommy Posted May 17, 2018 Moderator Share Posted May 17, 2018 That's a long-ass standby list.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 17, 2018 Subscriber Share Posted May 17, 2018 That attack lineup is very very good and at the same time has a lot of youthfulness about it as well. I hope they do well at the WC.
Cicero
Rabiot as standby. What a pisstake. Griezmann Dembele---------------Mbappe Pogba---Kante Nzonzi Mendy---Umtiti---Varane---Sidibe Lloris

Chaaay AFC
Very strong squad, surprised Rabiot didn't make the final cut though. Overall should be definitely be competing for the trophy.

6666
Their standby list would walk into our squad. No Lacazette is a surprise especially as he's been in good form at the perfect time going into the tounament and also because they only have one proper striker in there with the rest being second strikers and wingers. Adil Rami making it in is ridiculous though, obviously wouldn't have made it in if Koscielny was fit but even then Sakho, Zouma & Laporte are all better than him. SirBalon
For me France's attack is the best in this year's World Cup but their midfield is run of the mill at best. I also think their defence looks rather suspect.
Dave
The depth they have makes me feel sick. If they don't win something now they never will.

If Argentina fail, I hope France do win it. Especially with Pogba on the bench. That would be hilarious
Danny
That side looks class, Mbappe, Griezemann, Dembele, Fekir, Lamar....N'Zonzi and Kante is a defensive pairing England could only dream of...if Pogba is at his best they will be a real threat

SirBalon
Front page of L'Équipe Ousmane Dembélé's stellar performance against Italy has had French sports journalists talking and writing ever since. Dembélé picked up his form dramatically in the last few games of the season for FC Barcelona (after returning from multiple injuries this season) and it seems to have been carried forward by the young player to the France national side in preparation for the World Cup. There were rumours that Barça may have been contemplating loaning him out with some even being so bold as to say they could sell him. But after his massive improvement right at the end of his first season at Barcelona and the performance for France, the Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu stated that under no circumstances has the club ever or will ever contemplate letting such a talent move away from the club. @El Profesor @The Rebel CRS
