Dave Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Horrible stuff. Thank God there was an armed Officer in close proximity.
Toony Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 There's all these people giving eye-witness reports and they all completely contradict each other.

Some people are saying there was a body in the river and some aren't and some are saying they heard gunshots on others are saying they didn't. Regardless of what people are saying, seeing something like this happen in real life must be galling in the extreme.
Dave Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Sky have just reported two people have passed away. The aerial image shows more bodies being covered in blankets. Horrible stuff.

Administrator Stan Posted March 22, 2017 Author Administrator Posted March 22, 2017 Met Police confirming they received calls of a person in the river.
Cicero Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Reports of the incidents are getting confusing. How many attackers are they dealing with?
Panna King Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Were there 2 cars?? or 1 car but who entered the Parliament grounds?
Toony Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Several people have got 'catastrophic' injuries so the death toll is probably likely to increase, including a police officer apparently. Sickening.

Mowed people down on Westminster Bridge. Carried on in to Palace Yard which is just outside Parliament and crashed in to railings then driver fled seemingly in to Parliament buildings where he allegedly stabbed a police officer and was then shot.
Toony Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 There's pictures on Twitter of the attacker being given CPR and stretchered onto an ambulance.
Smiley Culture Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Can see the London Eye from my work and see and hear the helicopters and emergency service vehicles presumably trying to get near the area. It really hits home how close these things are to you and is actually slightly scary.
Toony Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 A woman has been pulled out from the River Thames alive.
Fairy In Boots Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I saw somewhere that the copper was one of the two now reported dead, I know a woman died on the bridge but what's not clear is, is it one attacker or two separate attacks?

Administrator Stan Posted March 22, 2017 Author Administrator Posted March 22, 2017 one thing that should come out of this (as well as hoping there are no more fatalities) is the praise for police and emergency & medical services. They reacted within 6 minutes to the incidents and have stopped this terrorist incident from becoming far worse. Especially to the armed police who shot down the terrorist.
Cure Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 How unnerving and terrible. I'm there all day tomorrow. More importantly stay safe @Storts and @Smiley Culture.
Administrator Stan Posted March 22, 2017 Author Administrator Posted March 22, 2017 Reporter on BBC now reporting 2 assailants. 1 being white and the other being black. So conflicting reports still

Toony Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 It's absolutely horrible. They've taken the attacker into A&E flagged by armed police. Imagine if you were a member of the general public sat in there and all that walked in. This is horrendous.

Spike Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I'm surprsied ISIS hasn't claimed responsibility yet.
