Another deflected goal for Shaqiri to kill the tie.

It's so hard to sum up United's issues but they've been getting physically and technically molested all over the midfield. Fellaini has made a slight improvement in the second half but Matic and Herrera have no control against this Liverpool midfield which is probably actually the weak point of Klopp's team if there is one. The other thing is United having no out ball. Lukaku hiding from it because he can't be arsed fighting with Van Dijk and if Rom isn't using his physical presence to benefit the team he doesn't have much else to offer.

When we got Shaqiri people thought we were mad to get a player that was basically dusted but look what he's turned into. You'd back him to snatch a match in the dying moments the way he puts himself about and chases goals. Good win today and the MOTM is definitely Fabinho. Immense performance and he tracked and hustled like his life depended on it.

On a side note, De Gea and Rashford deserve a better team.

Let's see what excuses Klopp has in store. Fully expect Don Mou to set up another defensive masterclass to shutdown that front three ONCE AGAIN and our lethal counter will win it.

JUST WIN UNITED, JUST FUCKING WIN!!!!!

Well I guess you did see a defensive masterclass, despite Alisson’s fuckup. Very very few chances created by United today.

Still undefeated, top of the league, longest unbeaten run for us in the league too. Cherry on top, we’ve beaten the most cowardly set up United side probably to ever come to Anfield, certainly in my living memory. And it’s given them their worst ever start to a season.

MOTM: Fabinho, or maybe Shaqiri for making the difference but Fabinho was excellent throughout. Nah fuck it MOTM is Shaqiri
