Storts
Well in Southampton, super battling point that one. Chelsea looked pretty toothless, just give the ball to Hazard and hope he creates some magic again.
Smiley Culture
Wagner has to go at Huddersfield now. They’re a horrible team to watch, set out with 9 defensive outfield players and can’t score to save themselves.

We as usual as you have already pointed out rely on Hazard to try and carve out a bit of magic, apart from him there is almost zero creativity in the side.. If he moves on which I believe he will he will be a hard player to replace

Cicero
When you reject a 60 million offer for Willian, this is what you get. Embarrassing points dropped. Toothless yet again and no solutions. Full backs provide nothing. Barkley utterly useless. Willian a fraud. Morata not doing enough. Just criminal performances all around. When our rivals are scoring goals for fun, this is incredibly concerning. We really don't need that 2 legged semi final against Spurs.

Machado
Wolves are decent underdogs but terrible at assuming even the tiniest favouritism.

Their fans have fully turned on him by the looks which is a shame, but they're just a bit out of their depth. 8 defeats on the spin, which includes home defeats to Newcastle, Brighton, Burnley and Southampton is a disgraceful return. Looking nailed on for the drop.

carefreeluke
Giving the ball to Hazard and hoping for the best I think has been the tactic ever since Mourinho returned for his second spell. Both in the title-winning seasons with Mourinho and Conte the playing style and tactics started to go a bit stale in and around the midpoint of those seasons or just after. In the second half of those seasons, teams you could say had worked us out and the style of football wasn't the greatest. The Premier League took about six months to get any sort of grip on Conte's system for starters. I still maintain to this day that we played some great football under Mourinho in the first half of 2014/15 and some even better football under Conte in 2016/17. Things started to stagnate after a while though in those seasons and the football became a bit predictable and dry but what's quite common is that momentum, adrenaline, and the general mental side to things can help see you over the line in a title run. Results keep the fans on side and any poor viewing footballing wise was easily masked in the second halves of those seasons because of the excitement and buzz of the title run. Anyway, Hazard was the consistent attacking source we had in those seasons and everything evolved around him in an attacking sense. The reason why I brought up Hazard at the beginning is that no matter what stage we were at under Mourinho or Conte, he was always there posing a threat. I look at this team of players and see no electricity. There’s no pace, no inventiveness, no sparks, no intensity, no intelligence in an attacking sense.
