It is sad if true, your background can't be helped and it's what you become and believe now that matters most. Do like Mcdonnell generally, seems to have genuine socialist instincts, as opposed to most of Labour.

Talking of Facebook I was told by one Corbyn loving gimp today "the Tories are just nasty sexist homophobes, labour stand for what's right"

Funnily enough, my mate (a Tory councillor) had a smear made against him by a party 'standing for what's right' over 'sexist' comments made on Facebook, the only sexost part published was 'a reference to French porn'.

Here's the full quote for context by the way:

'A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a stack of French porn'.

Find where the quote comes from and laugh.

As for me, my vote has been cast and ended up being very easy indeed.

The comments section is even funnier, how many times does the word snowflake get mentioned? Some pure virgins on there.

'Snowflake' is the right-wing version of 'bigot'.

been a fair bit of controversy about young voters being denied access to ballots/booths.

I nearly got denied a ballot because I didn't have my polling card or ID. You don't need either but I wasn't allowed to go through to the booth. Thankfully I was able to go back and get it and get my vote in but won't be happy if it turns out people couldn't vote at all because they didn't have either on them.

To be fair, I was quite surprised that I could just turn up give my name and address and vote. Nothing stopping people from voting under someone else's name if they know where they live.

I was the same although living in a small village I sort of knew the people who were running our polling station. Obviously ID was not completely compulsory if it hasn't been enforced at every station, which as you say is slightly odd.

Already resigned to be honest. By all accounts Theresa will be back in by a landslide. Sad indictment of what's on offer in the country at the moment even if I personally like a lot of Labours plans.

Same here and it was no different to the local election last month. Just said my first line of address and name and off I went to vote. Had my polling card just in case but wasn't required.

Yep that's an hammer & sickle that children have been taught to paint at a school that doubles as a polling station. NUT are a gaggle of cunts, indoctrination of the young is in full swing, vile creatures

Only a few minutes til we get a rough idea of whether you're moving to Australia or not mate

Mrs wants NZ or Canada, I'd go Australia to be fair. If I didn't have family I'd be gone now but it's hard taking grandkids away from Grandparents. Hand might get forced though

First exit poll- Tory largest party.

314 for Tory

34 for SNP

14 for Libs

3 for Plaid Cymru

1 for Greens

0 for UKIP

If Exit poll is to be believed, it'll be a hung parliament.

326 required for overall majority for Tories.

314 is down 17 seats for them.

If that turns out to be accurate, then a Labour/SNP/Lib Dem coalition would add up to 314 as well. Interesting but we'll see what the actual results are.

Please god let this be true. Even if they're still largest party, watching those privileged psychos blow the biggest one-horse race in British political history would be too much hilarity to handle.
