Definitely not Wimbledon and doubtful for the US Open in August. Would be good to see him return as nobody has ever returned to competitive singles after having the operation he's had. Really? I thought his retirement was final. Would be great to see him back, hopefully without any pain.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted June 23, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted June 23, 2019 Enjoying today's finals at Queens Club. Andy Murray in the doubles final on his comeback alongside Feliciano Lopez, who won the singles final earlier today. They've won the first set on a tie break against Ram and Salisbury. Toinho
Barty world number one! Only the 5th Aussie ever to achieve it and the first woman since Evonne Goolagong held it for a short time in the 70s I think. Both of indigenous background too. Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted July 1, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted July 1, 2019 It's Wimbledon time. Actually going to try and watch a few more matches this year on the TV or online etc. Always miss the first few days and then start getting invested during the latter stages. Yes Venus is getting on a bit but still it's just mad how someone of 15 years old (!!!) just did that in a show court.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 2, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted July 2, 2019 Massive win for the girl but it's one match. Youngsters pull off these wins on a regular basis before disappearing into obscurity by the age of 21 after a year or so of hype, especially on the women's side. It's one match. Let's see how she does against Rybarikova.

After the first set he looked really fired up and came back to win the next 2. Then switched over to Edmund game thinking he'd go through then was very surprised to see he'd lost the 5th and been knocked out. Edmund was in a very strong position 2 sets up and 3-1 up in 3rd but seems to have got an injury and Verdasco came back in it. Could go to 5 sets and Verdasco will win.
