Murray is aiming for a singles return this year. Definitely not Wimbledon and doubtful for the US Open in August. Would be good to see him return as nobody has ever returned to competitive singles after having the operation he's had.

Really? I thought his retirement was final. Would be great to see him back, hopefully without any pain.

Enjoying today's finals at Queens Club. Andy Murray in the doubles final on his comeback alongside Feliciano Lopez, who won the singles final earlier today. They've won the first set on a tie break against Ram and Salisbury.

It's Wimbledon time. Actually going to try and watch a few more matches this year on the TV or online etc. Always miss the first few days and then start getting invested during the latter stages.

Surprised there's nothing here about a 15 year old beating Venus Williams :o

Amazing. Venus had won 4 Grand slam titles, including 2 at Wimbledon before Cori Gauff was even born!

Yeah crazy that a girl that young just beat a Wimbledon star. Yes Venus is getting on a bit but still it's just mad how someone of 15 years old (!!!) just did that in a show court.

Massive win for the girl but it's one match. Youngsters pull off these wins on a regular basis before disappearing into obscurity by the age of 21 after a year or so of hype, especially on the women's side.

It's one match. Let's see how she does against Rybarikova.

Thiem (5), Zverev (6), Tsitsipas (7) all out in the first round already.

Ties to look out for in the next round:

Edmund v Verdasco

Khachanov v Lopez

Kyrgios v Nadal

Hope Nadal absolutely humiliates Kyrgios.

Wawrinka is the latest big name out. Loses to Opelka 8-6 in the fifth.

Surprised at that. After the first set he looked really fired up and came back to win the next 2. Then switched over to Edmund game thinking he'd go through then was very surprised to see he'd lost the 5th and been knocked out.

Edmund was in a very strong position 2 sets up and 3-1 up in 3rd but seems to have got an injury and Verdasco came back in it. Could go to 5 sets and Verdasco will win.
