The fact that we scored the first goal helped us a lot. Denmark seems to be unable to threaten a deeply sitting opponent without completely exposing themselves. We are able to run counter after counter.

Unfortunately, it's now has been officially confirmed that Hannes Wolf has suffered a broken ankle and will potentially be out for as long as 6 months :( So unlucky. Hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

Choudhury, Maddison and Gray starting.

Leicester are the future.

Really enjoyed that half to be fair. It's a strong and impressive French side with a lot of recognised first team players at decent clubs. They should really be ahead with Dembele missing a penalty and another good chance. Credit to Henderson for keeping him out.

England started well but France have dominated the last 25 minutes with some good possession play. England carry a threat with their pace, particularly through Gray, but need better end product.

France have looked quite poor so far, but they have a route in now with this pen and Choudhury going off for an absolutely horrific challenge.

Rash challenge from Choudhury and France have another penalty. Clumsy from Tomori to lose possession in the first place.

Choudhury now has his yellow changed to a red following the VAR review and can't really have any complaints. Bamba stretchered off.

Aouar.... misses! Off the post. France miss a second penalty.

Red card for Jovanovic and Hannes Wolf has to be stretchered off after suffering an awful injury :( That's surely the end of the tournament for him...

And Horvath makes it 2-0 from a free kick!!!

Fuck me, that looks fucking painful

Seems a slightly odd move tactically to put Abraham and Calvert-Lewin on when you're a goal up and a man down late on, even if it's for the two wingers.

Very convincing performance from Henderson. United should probably try and keep him but they'll probably sell him for £10m and sign Kaylor Navas for £60m.

Choudhury played well tbh but this is always going to be a problem with him. He's reckless at times.

Sounds like Choudhury was a liability

Only for that one moment.

He was doing alright I thought up til then. Just a stupid moment but with his full-on nature of play it's to be expected at times.
