MUFC Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 He has only one league title for everything he has done, last season was iffy but you have to give him the benefit of the doubt considering what he has done overall for us. In a nutshell do you think he has wasted years galore at a club that has struggled post-Fergie?

True Blue Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Considering he spent 8 seasons at the club, apart from the league, fa cup and Europa the other are minor or insignificant. Think he just played in the wrong United era, however saying all that he won every available trophy in England once though, and a second tier European trophy.
...Dan Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Can someone edit the title please? My eyes are bleeding.
Carnivore Chris Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 He would have been better off staying at Atlético Madrid in all fairness. There would have been more of a 'fairy tale' there aswell considering how he came through their youth.
6666 Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Will be interesting to see if Man Utd sell him this window or if they're willing to risk him leaving on a free. Should propose some sort of a swap deal with Courtois seeing as Zidane doesn't seem like Courtois' biggest fan.
Harry Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 He's been a mostly shining star in a difficult patch for United. Similar to hazard at Chelsea. Both clubs have struggled to be consistent in their transfer dealings and manager selections which has been disruptive and limited both clubs in their ability to surround these players with other world beaters
Inverted Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 I think United's style of play has suited him very well in his time there. He might have won more with another side, but I don't know if he would be as highly rated as he is by most people. Playing in an elite, progressive team might have exposed his weaknesses more regularly, but as it is he's spent most of his career with a deep defence in front of him, making constant reflex saves, which are his biggest strength.
