Ayoze Perez Signs For Leicester

That'd be fairer, yes.

Even if he got something like 12 goals next season and a few assists, that's beneficial for us - one of our main priorities this season is to get support for Vardy when it comes to scoring goals. Perez may provide that especially more so than a player like Gray who is the ultimate definition of inconsistency.

It's more the price if it is 30 million is the shocking part if it's true.

If Leicester end up paying 30m then it'll be because he hit agreed targets, therefore becoming a successful purchase.

Sorry to say, but Newcastle HAVE to be favourites for the drop now. Losing their main goal threat and unlikely to sign Rondon after Rafa left.

Yeah plus apparently it's £16m and then the rest based on meeting such targets according to Percy:

Agree about Newcastle being favourites now. Any manager going in to the club now has a huge task on his hands.

£30m isn't the worst deal in the world for a guy like him. He's hardly shit, either. Maybe playing with better players might bring more out of him as opposed to being in Newcastle's squad?

I think he's decent and playing with better attacking players, as you say, will benefit him. Most of his goals last season came after Newcastle signed Almiron which kind of backs that up.

I can tolerate £16mil. That's a good addition. £30mil makes me think it would be our main attacking addition while £16mil doesn't.

He could be a lot better suited to a Rodgers side. He can press from the front and he actually produces a bit more than our other options. He's scored more winning goals at our ground in the last two seasons than Gray & Iheanacho combined.

Newcastle are getting Danny Welbeck for a free, who probably is a better player

Big ask for him to produce in the 8 games he'll play in the season.

He would improve the squad as they have such poor depth after Vardy but anything over £20m would be steep. He's younger than I thought to be fair at 25.

Anything below £25m would be a joke as far as I'm concerned. What would we get out of it?

Perez, Rondon and Almiron as a front 3 together is top half.

We are absolutely blowing up the good done here. What a farce

He's desperate to play for caretaker manager Neil Redfearn?

The lad scored 10 goals from his last 16 starts in that front 3... on the wing.

He also doesn't actually want to stay in England either so obviously couldn't get the Spanish move he wanted.

Is he eligible for England now? xD

Weren't Sevilla giving him a look? Anyways, you'll have just lost your possible goal threat and you'll still haven't sorted a lot of other things out. Have to feel for the fans but it seems quite likely you'll will drop this season unless something comes about.

Sniffing but have already spent £100m and not on £30m players.
