Harry
How many more years does he have and how many goals will be score per year? I'd imagine he'd get to 100 on penalties alone...

The Artful Dodger
He's got at least another qualifyiers in him, if Portugal get a few Andorra, Luxembourg, Latvia type team then it's well within his reach.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted October 13, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted October 13, 2019 Yes he will. He almost always scores 6 in the qualifiers and he's got another three years at least in him? Knowing the kind of competitive nature he has, I don't think he'd let it go either.

The Artful Dodger
I don't see him retiring from International football either, at least not till he has that record. Portugal will arguably have more games against easier opposition that Juventus will, and he'll be able to notch up a fair few more goals at international level. Teso dos Bichos
He will easily surpass the scoring record and continue his legacy as the most complete goalscorer of all-time or El Dios del gol.
Cicero
The entire Portugal set up is perfect for Ronaldo. They have an even better shout at the Euros than they did in 2016. Bernardo, Fernandes, Felix, and Guedes are all creative outlets.

Chaaay AFC
Unless he sustains a serious injury, he will absolutely beat that record. Think he goes till the 2022 World Cup which should see him over the line.

Can't really compare, obviously Ronaldo scored against opposition likes Netherlands, Belgium etc which Ali Daei never did also the weaker European sides are still better then their counter parts in Asia. But Ali Daei played and scored against equally matched opponent Japan, Korea, Saudis, Iraq etc more often than Ronaldo did.
