We've apparently had a few behind closed doors friendlies, hence the lack of first teamers involved so far. Changes things slightly for me if true.

I just saw the highlights of the Liverpool 1-1 Athletic Bilbao....  Flipping' eck!  Athletic played what can practically only be described as their 'B' team!

I went to watch the Palace - Schalke friendly yesterday. Got an insight in to how DeBoer is likely to play going forwards. 

We were using Townsend in RWB role which i'm not too sure of and there was no Yohan Cabaye to be seen which makes me think he may be off some point this window.

As for the football it wasn't even a competition and we should have won by 4 or 5.
