Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 8, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 8, 2019 A club's wet dream to be facing us at home when they need to respond to three consecutive defeats and a 9-0 drubbing in their last home game. Southampton 2-0 Everton. Nailed on.
Dave Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Hopefully by the time the Sheffield United game comes around Son will stop trying to play the victim.

I'm glad this has been noticed outside the rage of the Everton twittersphere. "What a lovely gesture from Son. He made an apology into the camera after being traumatised by his own decision to commit a cynical foul where he made no attempt to get the ball which led to a season-ending injury for an opposition player. So BRAVE. So STRONG." Christ almighty. Yes he didn't do it on purpose but it's actually been embarrassing this week. Son has actually come out of it as more of a saint than Coleman who showed actual genuine class by going to the Spurs dressing room to comfort his opponent without wanting everyone to know about it. The only coverage about us post-game was the Times accusing Richarlison of diving when he hasn't been booked once for diving since coming to England. Unfortunately we're used to all of this as Everton fans. Spurs seized control of the narrative after Sunday's game and successfully convinced the country Son is the victim and got his ban overturned. If the roles were reversed and it was Gomes on Son it doesn't get revoked in a million years.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Genuinely have found it amazing that you hear so much about Son after that incident.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Pickford Sidibe Mina Holgate Digne Schneiderlin Sigurdsson Davies Walcott Tosun Richarlison Anthony Gordon on the bench for the first time. Come on you blue cunts, these are shite.
Administrator Stan Posted November 9, 2019 Author Administrator Posted November 9, 2019 9-0 on the cards against Southampton again?!

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Christ almighty these are shite. Hurry up and kill this game, all over them.
The Artful Dodger Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Son scored. The poor victim of last week's events. We can all be happy.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Ball clearly strikes Southampton player's hand there, next to his head, not even checked by VAR.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 This Almiron kid could try hitting an open goal and he still wont get a goal for Newcastle.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Should have destroyed them by half time. Early second half equaliser was totally predictable and I'm honestly surprised we rallied to win. Result is all that matters though, finally an away win.
Dave Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 These VAR discussions in the media are about as exciting as a Brian / Teso arguement.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 9, 2019 Be goal difference off 5th by now if VAR hadn't raped us at Brighton. Norwich at home next, need to win that one before the horrible December fixture list and people might just get off the team's backs for a bit. Still plenty to work on but Davies and Holgate have stood out in recent weeks as young lads galvanising this side. A lot of pressure on Davies particularly who is suddenly our lead midfielder with Gomes, Gbamin and Delph all injured.

Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted November 10, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 10, 2019 Maguire Captain, nice one not seeing Young in there as Captain, I just hope this United lot land back on planet earth after the Europa win and not thinking "It's only Brighton lads, piece of piss..." 2-0 United...
Cicero Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 United have been more impressive here than their 4-0 smashing against us. Taken a while for Ole to utilitse all that pace he has at his disposal. United could be winning 6 or 7-1
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 10, 2019 Subscriber Posted November 10, 2019 Caught up on MOTD. Very poor from Schneiderlin on their goal in an otherwise decent performance from him. I like the guy but it's a shame we're having to rely on him with Gomes, Gbamin and Delph all now missing. The build up to the winner was better than I realised at the time. Decent from Iwobi and Sidibe offers a lot more going forward than Coleman. We just need to be better at getting goals when we're on top in games and we'll be sound. Still a bit worrying that 5 minutes of pressure was enough to make us buckle at the start of the second half though. Sign of a team with fragile confidence. We can get that back with some better results though.
Administrator Stan Posted November 10, 2019 Author Administrator Posted November 10, 2019 West Ham's keeper had a mare for the 2nd and 3rd Burnley goals. Claiming a foul for the 3rd he punched in to his own net but is barely touched by Barnes, if at all
