I think Boris is just trying to do what people want him to rather than what he needs to do. The constant mixed messages aren't fair though, a normal Christmas and millions vaccinated by Christmas were just two massive lives.1 point

The Wild Sheep Chase is actually my next book and for the same exact reason you mentioned. I just picked up Dance Dance Dance as I was travelling but I do plan on reading the sequel too.1 point

Customarily it's expected (which is an almost concrete, but not legally binding, obligation) that a minister will resign when found in breach of the code. But that kind of mechanism only works with normal politicians. It doesn't work when your government is run by a clique of media stooges and robber barons who only want power in order to siphon-off public funds to themselves and their mates.1 point

Nice... The reason I asked, Dance Dance Dance was my first book of his as I got it as a birthday present years ago; didn't realise it was a sequel to The Wild Sheep Chase so was a bit confused at times, but I loved it. If you enjoy it, I'd highly recommend Kafka on the Shore. My most favourite Murakami novel, and also one of my favourite books ever...1 point

Agree with all of that. Like I said though, it’s a massive catch 22. Sacrifice a million for 65 million. However, people think a bit differently if it’s their family effected (from both sides).1 point

The best thing to do now. Go to your facebook/instagram account with a non specific subcontinental name (could be Indian, could be Pakistani) and go on indian cricket pages and say "Ul Haq father of miss kohli yes yes Packistan very father of baby India, Tim Paine owner of Kholi now" Then watch the tide roll in1 point

Anyone heard of a dog breed named Cane Corso? They have a stronger bite force then lions. Not a dog lover but these look like beasts but beautiful at the same time.1 point
