  1. I found 22 very relatable in general

  2. Yes the animation and plot was superb. I loved the 'in the zone' section. All been there where you just seem to be in a trance, full of focus, and just in another world. You come away from it thinking about the perspective of life and the finer, more valuable and precious things in life. I found the 'lost souls' quite touching. And those that just need that little glimpse of life and that proverbial (or literal) helping hand to drag them out of their anxiety and depression. The emotions and feelings of anyone in life is personified greatly in this film. Same . Can definitely associate that with a few people in life! I think there was a line about one of the little ones in the Great Before saying they're an incredibly opportunistic manipulative megalomaniac and then the Jerry saying 'that's Earth's problem to deal with' Yep, same!

  4. But it was back then when you were still Argh! I'm a Pirate and he was massdebates (I think) Both Liverpool fans and both quality posters still kinda explains it though...

  5. I used to confuse you two, for whatever reason

  6. There was a viral video a while ago (pre-Covid) of a dad taking his son to a supermarket to make him apologise to the staff after he'd acted like a little shit towards them. Kid looked mortified but I bet he never did it again.

  7. Mine was Soul as well. I liked it a lot, agree with @nudge that 22 felt very relatable

  8. Got Horizon on Black Friday as it was very cheap (about £8). Haven't started it yet mind. That lot should keep you going for a while.

  9. That was my favourite line in the film, brilliant

  10. Just watched it myself... Really good in all aspects; the animation, the score, the story are all top notch, and it also came out just at a right time as most of us could probably do with a nice subtle reminder to enjoy all little things in life... Some nice humour in there, too. “Don't worry, you can't crush a soul here, that's what life on Earth is for!" 8.5/10.

  11. Soul Got Disney+ and watched this last night. It's a good watch and gives you a lot of perspective but at the same time, lots of humour and feel-good factor. Doesn't carry on as you would expect after the first little intro bit. Thought it'd be some rags to riches tale but turns out quite different, in a good way. 7.5/10.

  12. We are too small to have a tier system, it's only a matter of time. We should all lockdown as one.

  13. There’s no staff to use them. I genuinely think it was a massive PR stunt by an under pressure government. It’s hard enough to staff the existing hospitals and ICU’s.

  14. That is the most fascinating part and I suppose I am being harsh on the science of AI which is at its heart trying to mimic something organic the best way it knows how, by building models it can learn off. I too am curious to see how well it adapts to games it knows very little about in the future but i suspect we're a while away from that right now.

  15. I think the fact that MuZero learns without being given the rules by developing its own internal dynamic model of the environment and optimising within that model, and is also non-specific enough to teach itself new games is pretty neat though... Kind of similar to how we (humans) learn things without reading the rulebook first. Now, I agree with you that it's still more of a statistical model which mimics the most effective play, but while it might not be true AI, the progress reinforced learning has made in such a short period of time is still very impressive. Hopefully this will lead to it mastering more complex multi-agent games by demonstrating its understanding of causal connections between a multitude of different actions instead of relying on brute forcing solutions.

  16. Pixar’s Soul - 9/10 Weird, but fantastic effort. The animation is another level, and I loved the world building in it. There is a great message in there too, which is quite powerful.

  17. Subscribed to Hello Fresh and I’m impressed so far! It’s very good for Amateurs like myself who enjoy cooking. Has anyone ever used it?
