Thank you both Yeah, I've been in contact with them for almost a week now, and agreed to give it ago. We'll see how it goes. I think there's a growing demand for astrophotography images at the moment, so it would be pretty neat if it pays for a few beers every month, haha. @Viva la FCB here are some of my favourites (highly compressed as the original ones are 25MB+, so don't mind the quality)4 points

@Relling is my long lost brother. Seriously though hes great, a man of few words but what he does say is usually worth reading2 points

My dad once took me to the place where Alexander believed to have fought King Porus when he came to subcontinent. I was a kid vaguely remember it but that place was weird. Big plain, the trees were short and their stems were awkward. Like most ancient conflicts the local accounts of the war portray a different outcome than Greek victory, stalemate. Nevertheless all accounts agree Alexander had it tough and bcz of this war didn't decided to go further east.2 points

I have posted a few of my astrophotography images on social media recently, and have just received a partnership offer from a small media company that specialises in stock images Apparently, they want to me to regularly contribute astro-related images to them, with me earning a 60% commission. I am obviousy going to discuss terms and whatnot before I commit to it, but what are your thoughts? Decent opportunity to earn some passive pocket money?2 points

I just finished this, didn't realise it was only 5 Episodes but I would say I preferred this compared to The Terror, mainly because it was a shorter series so didnt feel like it dragged as much. Very similar vibes, atmospheric, tense and proper grey day, wintery telly. Colin Farrell was actually really good as the psychopathic Henry Drax. The last episode was the weakest for me but all in all I really enjoyed it.1 point

I think I first saw him in Into the West, which is one of my all-time favourite miniseries, and then noticed him in some smallish role in other TV shows. And I agree, his Westworld role was great. I also loved him in The Son as well...1 point

I saw Zahn in the trailer. Man did I love his character in Westworld. And yea, I've heard about the indigenous thing as well. Very intriguing. Will give this a go tomorrow.1 point

In one episode only Zahn McClarnon is also in it. The majority of the cast, all directors and writers are also indigenous.1 point

Still brilliant from my whoops, I am trying to match them up via Googlr search but your shots are brilliant, it keeps me looking when you show one and I then see if I can find it, one of my all time favourites is the M2-9: Wings of a Butterfly Nebula, maybe you should try looking for that. https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap200913.html1 point

Haha, thank you. I have a lot more unprocessed raw images on my hard drive, but it takes quite a lot of time to process it until I'm happy with the final result, so I will need to commit more time to it if I'm serious about it Took a bunch of Jupiter images recently, and it's my first planetary observation+photography, so I'm quite eager to see how it works out.1 point

Have you got anything to lose in the long term? If it’s very specific images, sounds like you’ve got a decent opportunity to break into that niche market and set the standard. Go for it.1 point

The wife had a ladies night around our daughters, bottles of wine, a Chinese take-away and watching a film, lucky she checked her bag when leaving for the taxi as Puddin had decided to settle in it for the night and that bought back memories when one of the pet rats (Zoom) did the same a few months back and the wife nearly took Zoom home with her in the bus.1 point

They don't let you upload pictures if they're not your own. If it's widely available on internet they'll quickly take it down or some days max. Now I take screenshots of highlights of matches on high resolution. They setup a panel for propose deletion of those pics, suspect copy violation but couldn't find any valid ownership. They'll never catch me1 point
