  1. Was watching Stranger Things a few days ago and heard this as a background track in one of the episodes. Nuno really had a lot of fun on it as is evident from all the soloing he got to do with the rhythm sections too.

  2. Go watch videos of people killing several people with a gun. Then watch the same with a knife or a bat. It's night and day. Guns are effortless. It is outrageously difficult and personal to kill someone with a blunt or bladed weapon. A gun makes it easy to kill several people. Too easy. It's not a power people should have.

  6. Also the USA is the reason why Mexico is fucked. They put a trade embargo on them unless they banned a heap of shit and those bannings allowed the cartels to create black markets. Also the USA is the number one place for illegal guns going into Mexico. The USA fucked Mexico not the other way around.

  7. I live near the Mexico border currently and I must say, I think that's one of the silliest things I've ever heard . The cartels coming in use tunnels and boats mostly, a lot of the illegal immigration done by land is mostly just migrants trying to get away from the gang violence in Mexico and South/Central America. Combatting drug trafficking creating crime in the US isn't going to be solved with AK47s and AR-15s in the hands of people that have no business owning them - organised crime thrives because drugs create a black market they control. So combating that crime would require doing more with US drug policy and taking control away from the cartels and gangs that run the market for drugs. But really it's a wholly separate issue from the constant mass shootings the US faces now. Most mass shootings have nothing to do with anyone needing to protect themselves - it's someone with a gun that's decided to go out and kill people. Guns by themselves make it easy to kill people, but assault rifles are designed to make it as easy as possible to kill as many people as someone can before they need to reload. Nobody needs one for protection unless they're in the military and are meant to be protecting something for military purposes. People buy them because they think assault rifles are cool or because they want to kill people.

  8. I don't understand what arming teachers would do... other than result in some teacher that has finally snapped after dealing with these little shits all day pulling out the gun and blasting some kids. The police in the US are armed... there was even a heavy police presence at the school where the shooting was. What happened with all of these armed police? They were too scared to actually act when there was an active shooter. They sat around the car park scratching their arses, harassing the concerned parents of children stuck in the school with the gunmen, and waited for Border Patrol (for some reason) to turn up and deal with it. What the fuck is an untrained teacher going to do? Also are the guns going to be secure? If it's not secure, there's the risk of kids getting those guns that should be held by teachers and shooting other people. If it is secure, that takes away from the possible response time a teacher would have if a gunman stormed into their classroom. And again... it's an untrained teacher. Not a military trained sniper. Not even a poorly trained police officer. If those cops with assault rifles and body armour were too fucking scared to respond to an active shooter... what on earth would ANYBODY expect some random teacher to do in that situation? Aside from demented people, who obviously should not be able to get guns... there's just too many guns in the US that don't really serve the purpose gun owners claim they need. Why does anyone need an AR-15 or an AK-47 other than for killing people? Not hunters - they're not good weapons for hunting. Not people who "want to defend their families," something like a shotgun would probably do just fine for that - effective at defense, needs less ammo, easier to aim, easier to clean, less likely to jam, etc. Assault weapons are designed to just make killing people as easy as possible for combat. Your average everyday arsehole off the street doesn't need an AK-47 to protect themselves, they don't need it to hunt, the only real reason to have one is to kill people. There's no reason why these weapons should be able to be purchased by ordinary people, they belong in the hands of military troops and specially trained police.

  9. I haven't even thought that deeply about it. You're right of course. Seemed like a cool idea at first glance though.

  10. This might sound and look like a cool idea, but it's silly for several reasons 1. Why in the world do you need to use plastic packaging for bananas that are packaged by nature already? Just unnecessary waste. 2. Bananas release ethylene gas which helps them ripen, and storing a bunch of them together will make all of them ripen much, much faster, so the advertised difference in levels of ripeness will not hold. 3. Add 1 and 2 together - if you store bananas in a closed bag/package, ethylene gas will not escape and it will speed up the ripening process even further. 4. Why do they call it "one-a-day" and only have 6 bananas??? No bananas on Sunday?

  11. Nice! Have fun! I'd love to see Bill Burr live. I think he was actually doing a show in Germany a couple of years ago. But I think it was Berlin.

  12. Saw a couple more comedy shows over the weekend. Andrew Santino - he was great, I went in knowing nothing about him but my better half really likes a couple of podcast's with Bobby Lee and he does one of them. Also got free tickets cus one of her friends couldnt go to another one... apparently there was a Just For Laughs Tour coming through. Jimmy Ouyang - he was also really funny, him I do know I think hes only got one special out anyways but worth watching. Still got Bill Burr late next month to look forward too and actually picked up some super cheap tickets for a couple things. Every year (minus the last 2) they have a summer sale where they blast concert tickets for 25$ for a bunch of stuff. Managed to get tickets to The Black Keys and Chris Rock for later this year

  13. Havertz and Mount are the only two players I would refuse to move on. Everyone else has their price. I like the former alot. He reminds me so much of a young Osgood. My only question, where is he best placed on the pitch. I am not sure the manager has that decision made, although later in the season CF was his starting spot. Mount could truely be anything, other than a Penalty taker! I would consider deals for all other midfield n forward players, as long as we are covered twice in every position come the first game of the season. I think Dembélé would be a nice touch who I would hope to be more creative than the players we have used this season. It looks as thou Defender names are pretty much as last summer, so I am not expecting any new names. A player I like ad dont expect us to buy is a player on loan at Sheffield Unitrd from Wolves, Morgan Gibbs-White. Strong running with plenty of pace, I think he has a future. Time will tell ~ I'll be there 1st home game of the season, as per normal

  14. Given they work two days a week when you factor in travel the lack of improvement in some of them over the last 2 to 3 years is pretty astonishing. LAX are good but I don't think you can really class them as homegrown given they were in Impact. Will Hobbs is good but they struggle to book big people properly. Sammy Guevara is good but he'a shot himself in the foot with his social media presence. The two teams that are improving under the surface are The Gunn Club and The Acclaimed. The former are clearly listening to their old man away from this circus and the latter are entertaining whenever they get a chance. Teams like Jurassic Express, Best Friends and Dark Order can have no complaints when the time comes to put them over. I like Kris Statlander too but unfortunately for her Tony Khan is scared of women. Speaking of Tony Khan and women, he got to touch one for the first time the other night:

  15. New level of respect for Rangnick. Turns up halfway through the season and gets United to essentially announce they’re giving up on trying to do well this season but it’s alright he’s going to be a consultant. Spends months pissing off the players and fans. Collects his paycheck and leaves. Waste of time and money, should have kept the Norwegian Garth Southgate wannabe or Carrick all season. And they Glazers are giving themselves an £11m dividend despite United having serious losses last season
