  1. This German politician though. Praised himself on twitter, but forgot to log onto his alternate account. Wolkenkuckkucksheim tho.

  2. I'm applying for a Chinese (Mandarin) HSK-1 course. It's paid but it will be free if I get selected as a 'student'. I have some free time so it would be an interesting activity.

  3. I heard Brighton's football today described as "Potter Ball with 5 Espresso shots"

  4. Very solid win for us. Shinta Appelkamp with a goal and two assists. Perfect reply to his critics. A game where almost nothing went wrong, apart from giving that penalty away. Looked dodgy to me though, so I'll have to catch the highlights later.

  5. Very impressive win for Bremen! I did not expect that. Gladbach looked like amateurs defensively.

  6. Agreed, Palace took him on loan because Vieira saw something in him and gave him the time on the pitch and in return to his credit he really stepped up and had a blinding season for them and the fans appreciated that, I am fairly sure they might have been hoping to make the deal permanent but after that season it was always going to be hard to keep him out of the Chelsea side.. That goal today shows the Palace fans what they are missing without him and must be gutting to watch and fair play to him, I wouldn't have celebrated much either, He spent a whole season there and bonded well with the fans and the players and you don't just spit in the eye of that. Shows a lot of maturity to control yourself celebration wise given where you scored after a goal like that..

  7. You know what? I really really hate the way it's become accepted in the game not to celebrate at an old club. Bunch of fucking daft cunts these days, the lot of them. Gallagher wasn't even a Palace player, he was only on loan for a season, he has no alliegance to them and that's the bottom line. He's every right to go running into the away fans and go nuts after a strike like that in the 90th minute. This game is all about celebrating goals. Not saying he has to go full Adebayor and do a knee slide in front of the Holmsdale End but fuck me, what has happened to Football that you can't celebrate a goal against someone you played for? It's all bullshit. The irony is there is fuck all loyalty in this game these days anyway

  8. It is... Those are part of the 'Total War' range of games... fantastic games if you like big battles etc.. I own Rome, Rome 2, Medieval, Medieval 2 , Shogun 2, Attila, and Warhammer from that range.. Depending on the specs of your PC/Laptop and certain Mods you can use the battles are huge and exactly as you see them in that video... This one is a mod..

  9. To be fair, for a mid table side you must be pleased you put a dent in Brighton's title challenge... It's games like these where you probably didn't expect to get anything at all...

  10. It's not just him though mate, It's how we approach the final third in general... lot's of possession and fuck all end product, How can a team with the talent we have in it only manage to produce one solitary shot on target?? Baffles me it really does

  11. This is very much part of our attacking problem... Just take the fucking shot!!! Test the keeper once in a while.. The more chances we are prepared to take from outside the box forces defences to come out and try and close you down creating space behind...

  13. I don’t know if the inland areas can support as much population as the coasts. The environment of Alberta for instance is pretty hostile. I’m pretty sure the majority of Canadians live within 200 miles of the American border, or something ridiculous.

  18. The alternative is to get prompted to escape these times. But yea, I fully understand the reasoning of course. It's just a bit annoying for purely selfish reasons. But yea, many away fans that come here stay overnight anyway, to experience an evening out in our Altstadt.

  20. It's too much and that sort of population boom can be bad. Canadians that would have been living in the major metros can no longer afford to as housing prices have skyrocketed with demand. Same issue in Australia, I will probably never be able to afford to live in one of the major cities. It's kind of unfair to some people, it's bizarre how much immigration is pushed as a 'good thing' but it isn't a 'good thing' or a 'bad thing' it's just something that happens, and while extreme consequences for better or worse. I'm an immigrant and I'm anti-immigration for the most part. It sort of works in a place like the USA because it's so big and can handle an incredibly huge population, but Canada and Australia just can't. It's not like people immigrate to Winnipeg or Calgary. They want Vancouver and Toronto. People don't move to Toowoomba or Newcastle, they go to Sydney and Melbourne. Then it's just the smart and capable people moving, it just causes a brain drain on the migrant's country. My wife's parents were both doctors, are two doctors more valuable in the Philippines or the USA...? I'd say the country with people living in destitute poverty needs medical help more than literally the richest nation in existence. I don't blame people for leaving either, why stick around in a kleptocracy (the Philippines) or a theocracy (Iran) when they can live in the home of the free, land of the brave where the USA's inherit problems are hardly their concern?

  21. If you wanna see something crazy about Canada look at the demographics change since the 90s. I don’t think any country has had such a immigration change like Canada.

  24. Shite argument and always has been. And you know it too. Mikel was man of the match in your 2012 CL win. Want him back at the club? How about Bosingwa? Fuck, Ryan Bertrand still plays right? Better snap him up for 50 mil too. He scored a goal less than every 5 games. His passing was atrocious. His dribbling was atrocious. His confidence and finishing were atrocious. You used to complain when he started games once you'd realized the mistake. But sure, he's a legend because you happened to win a cup final that you didn't deserve to while he was in the starting 11. Jog on. Preferably all the way off a cliff into the ocean. Oh that's right, you have no fucking ocean because Croatia coast cucked you.

  29. It sounds different to foreigners though mate. I don’t know the accents too well but some sound a lot more guttural than others, how Austrians (Puck, Scharzeneggar) talk for instance is a lot more macho sounding than say Timo Werner who has that accent is in the English world is the ‘effeminate sing songy sounding German Eurotrash’ accent, I don’t know really how else to describe it. Our perceptions of what German sounds like is completely different to you, and I assume @Beelzebub’s would be completely different to mine as his first language (which I’m not sure what it is, Punjabi? Pashto? Pakistan has a lot of languages, he probably speaks several) is even further removed from the Germanic language groups.

  35. U.S. air raided all but five Japanese cities prior to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. 88% urban area was destroyed in seventeen cities, Kyoto alone had 65 raids. This makes the nukes was a last resort to end war argument untenable.

  36. True crime is dramatized all the time. Ethically and unethically. When viewers see the 'based on a true story' or 'based on real events' it creates engagement. It sells. You'd expect Netflix to do the right thing and give some of the profits to the victims' families. Unless they are massive hypocrites considering the way they depicted Lionel Dahmer trying to profit with his book about Jeffrey. That being said, I don't take this public backlash on social media too seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if at least half of it is fake or half hearted. There have been several novels and films dramatizing Jeffrey Dahmer. Just because Netflix makes one shouldn't commence such an uproar. I will say this though. In Jeffrey Dahmer's case, I still believe to this day his story needs to be told. One way or another. He was a unique individual forged by circumstances of nature vs nurture. Parents and school system/community that weren't involved, affectionate, and failed to provide him direction with his twisted thinking. His story will not only allow people to recognize the early signs of psychosis, but to allow these people to seek medical attention early and have it addressed. I also think the bigger picture here is that the Jeffrey Dahmer story allows to world to see the failure of the Milwaukee Police Department, and why the BLM movement continues to be a justifiable cause. Their incompetence, racism, and failure to provide equal protection and safety to Gay and Minority communities is biggest reason why the majority of these murders took place. The fact its been over 30 years and there are some people that don't know about Jeffrey Dahmer, his opportunistic and targeted murders on Gay black men, the police having multiple opportunities to catch him early on and/or the fact he murdered a 14 year old boy through the help of police, only shows more cause to have his story be heard. It needs to be heard.

  38. These games are very difficult to get back into after an extended break. The UI and the features are much less user friendly then it used to be, it's a lot more verbose and bloated then it used to be. So I applaud you being able to get back into these games, for me it was like looking at a manual in Greek. I just want to create tactics and buy players with a comprehensive simulation engine, I don't want to hire scouts, create portfolios, watch youth prospect matches, etc. It is bordering chores.
