Administrator Stan Posted November 20, 2019 Administrator Share Posted November 20, 2019 Would be good if this was on TV here. Haven't checked but I think last year's was only on because it was Boca vs River.

Berserker
It won't be as easy as giving the usual shagging to the piggies of the Riachuelo, looking forward to it.

Administrator Batard Posted November 23, 2019 Administrator Share Posted November 23, 2019 Diego Alves, there's a name I've not seen in a while. He looked an unbelievable talent at Almeria. Flashes of brilliance punctuated by injuries and Valencia self imploding. Shame really.
Machado
River much better in the first half but kinda dirty. 18 fouls by them in 45 minutes. Midfield is boys against men.
Inverted
It's like watching a modern team vs a good team from 10 years ago. The strength in the challenge, the recovery time, the speed carrying the ball, the intensity of the pressing, the running off the ball, is all just so much better with River. Flamengo have plenty of technique but their lack of intensity or physical presence means that everything needs to be executed so precisely it almost needs to be perfect. And just as I was typing that, Flamengo finally thread a good ball through and Barbosa scores

El Profesor
River sat on the advantage and Flamengo despite not playing ar their best have to much firepower upfront with Bruno Henrique, Arrascaeta and Gabigol.
