Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted January 16, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted January 16, 2020 Holloway's first home game in charge. Decent crowd expected especially with the reduced ticket prices and free tickets for school kids. Excited for this one!
Bluebird Hewitt
We'll lose 3-1. We can generally score goals but our defence is absolutely shocking and we concede goals at an alarming rate (Swansea aside).
Lucas
Haven't won in London since December 2017, which was ironically at Loftus Road. 2 years and a month later, we try to put this 'curse' to bed. Had some awful luck this season at Millwall and Fulham so hopefully we get something go for us Saturday. Really have gone off the boil lately and the doubts have crept in. If ever we needed a confidence boost, it's now. Absolute MUST win for me. Got to go make a statement and show the others chasing us we got the stomach to see this out. Jack Clarke will make his debut for them, couldn't write it could you. No doubt he'll be keen to make a point. They are very dangerous at home, have some decent players, especially Eze who was quality at Elland Road this season so it will be tough. We lost there last season so we owe them one. I just hope we can convert our chances this week. Our achilles heel.
Administrator Stan Posted January 17, 2020 Author Administrator Share Posted January 17, 2020 Knockaert scores early from close-range against Middlesbrough. Easy goal and poor one to concede.

The Artful Dodger
Could be Bowen's last game, need to improve on last week's abysmal performance against Fulham. Which was coincidentally my token home game of the season.

Administrator Stan Posted January 18, 2020 Author Administrator Share Posted January 18, 2020 Apparently more racism directed towards Ovie Ejaria and Tyler Blackett in the game between Millwall and Reading. Announcements having to be made on screen and on tannoy there.

Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted January 20, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted January 20, 2020 We lost to Exeter but it was good performance from us. To only lose by a single goal against the 2nd placed team isn't anything to worry about really. We look much better under Holloway and we actually look like we want to play a game of football and win it!

People I’ve spoken to about supporting Millwall tell me it’s a different environment nowadays, spoke to a fella who’s mum made him go to Arsenal cos of Millwall racism as a kid. Now takes his some there because of the change. But with those old school fans the shame is that unless someone’s banned, you’ve just gotta wait for them to die out and hope their kids grow to know that that though process is wrong
