Foreign Music

Recommended Posts

You could really pick so many songs from this guy and the earlier work is superb. Hes also quite nice with fans as I found out when I met the guy two years ago.

Do any of you listen to Non-English Music?

I obviously do, hell I make music in the Latin genre xD

I like Bachata, Reggaeton, Argentine and Uruguayan rock, Brazilian music (mostly Samba), Peruvian Cumbia and Japanese Anime Intro's. I am not one of those K-Pop lads :D

Yes, all the time. German, Austrian, Thai, Cambodian, mostly. Sometimes also Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Italian & French too.

I listened to a Vietnamese song the other day, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed!

Zhaoze's 1911 is probably my most favourite album of postrock. Absolutely incredible sound.

Arabic music has some of the best drum/bass grooves I have ever heard and I love it. North African music with its French/Arabic infusion is very cool to me personally.

You don't listen to English, American and Jamaican music then? :coffee:

On a serious note, these songs are class:-

Spanish, Colombian, Cuban and Mexican music are all great.

French hip hop is class, even though I don't understand it.

Brazilian music is brilliant as well, they know how to make music and dance better than anyone.

Obviously Italian music as well, who doesn't love that?

In my opinion, Dominican Republic has the best music in the Spanish speaking world.

I Maaschi and Piu Bella Cosa are always near the top on my list - both Gal and Guy are great at interpreting a lyric of any song they get hold of.

Got it bang on there @Carnivore Chris. One of those where it's better than the original

It's the clear and obvious padding underneath his jumper which gets me xD

The best is when he has a platter full of lines of sugar, then he starts putting it in his brew xD

A friend sent me this today:

Think it's the first Tamil song I've ever listened to! Quite neat... Love the flow and the rhythm.

Not heard that before. I like the music but not the vocals so much.

This though :x

Absolute classic. I remember making trips to Leicester from home to see family and we'd have the CDs in and the older version of this would always be on it.
