Yeah I have I quite like it too. Malayalam music in general has a very bass-line driven rhythm pattern and that works well for one of the bands I play with because they like playing this kind of music too.
Administrator Stan Posted April 22, 2019 Administrator Posted April 22, 2019 Been addicted to this song recently, from the new film Kesari
Inverted Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Ive been listening to some Turkish music since I found this album from an Australian rock band which is based on microtonal playing normally found in Turkish folk music. Here's one of the songs with a video by a Turkish guitarist analysing the similarities.
IgnisExcubitor Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Rediscovered this gem on YouTube. Twenty years ago, this was my absolute favourite. Both the song and the video were far ahead of its time.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 1, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 1, 2020 You could really pick so many songs from this guy and the earlier work is superb. Hes also quite nice with fans as I found out when I met the guy two years ago.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 21, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 21, 2020 was discussing this bass line with a friend today so figured I'd post it in here.
Mpache Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Do any of you listen to Non-English Music? I obviously do, hell I make music in the Latin genre I like Bachata, Reggaeton, Argentine and Uruguayan rock, Brazilian music (mostly Samba), Peruvian Cumbia and Japanese Anime Intro's. I am not one of those K-Pop lads

nudge Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Zhaoze's 1911 is probably my most favourite album of postrock. Absolutely incredible sound.

North African music with its French/Arabic infusion is very cool to me personally.
Azeem Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 Khailash Kher is my favourite Indian singer, haven't seen any of his new work but i have almost all of his old ones on my playlist

On a serious note, these songs are class:- Spanish, Colombian, Cuban and Mexican music are all great. French hip hop is class, even though I don't understand it. Brazilian music is brilliant as well, they know how to make music and dance better than anyone. Obviously Italian music as well, who doesn't love that?

In my opinion, Dominican Republic has the best music in the Spanish speaking world.
SchalkeUK Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I Maaschi and Piu Bella Cosa are always near the top on my list - both Gal and Guy are great at interpreting a lyric of any song they get hold of.
