At the moment the idea is that 1st, 2nd and the play off winner will get to choose any team to start with for next season. Best example I can think of is recently when I was given the choice of Hertha Berlin or another side that drew before they played Hertha. I picked Hertha. Why? Because they had about 4 games in hand so I was bound to profit from that while others didn't play. It's not rocket science . Whatever happened earlier on in the season is just because I didn't forget to choose a team where possible or miss out on a game. If that meant I played in midweek as well then so be it. Looking back, I was at the following teams (and I'm sure @Pyfish can go in to more detail...): Eibar to start off with Celta Vigo Barcelona Getafe Granada Real Sociedad Barcelona Athletic Bilbao Barcelona Sevilla Dortmund Bayern Munich PSG Bayern Munich Mainz Hertha Berlin Koln I was in 17th place in November!! By the end of Dec, I'd played 22 games and THIRTEEN of them had resulted in draws. I was fortunate to get to Granada/Real Sociedad at a time they played their Europa League games. It was at Mainz where I had the choice of them or Hertha Berlin after they drew. I've decided how it's going to start for next season now but you'll all have to wait to see what that is. I'm just planning how the Euros one is going to work at the moment too. If I'm being totally honest, I would never have thought anyone would catch @Deco with how big his lead was at one point.
