The deal ends the club's hunt for a successor to their all-time top scorer Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer last summer. He has a genuine connection to City due to his father playing for the club and grew up a City fan and was a member of a Norwegian City supporters Facebook group until 2019.
