Happy Blue Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 It's quite amusing that some people think City wasn't Haaland's first choice ..it's his boyhood dream to play for the team he supports like it was Foden's Quote

Happy Blue Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) Haaland to join City on the 1st July Edited May 10, 2022 by Happy Blue Quote
Happy Blue Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Haaland, 21, will join in July after City activated a 60m euro (£51.2m) release clause in his contract. The deal ends the club's hunt for a successor to their all-time top scorer Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer last summer. "We can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland," City said. "The transfer remains subject to the club finalising terms with the player." Haaland, who passed his City medical in Belgium on Monday, has scored 85 goals in 88 appearances for Dortmund since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020. La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona also spoke to Haaland about a potential deal, but he opted for a move to Etihad Stadium. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60819647 Quote
Happy Blue Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 (edited) This kid looks decent, tricky feet and a bit of a long range goal specialist, can play anywhere in a front 3, must be the end for Jesus? If we get Frenkie De Jong too we will have had a good summer Ederson Walker - Dias - Laporte - Cancelo De Bruyne - Rodrigo - De Jong Bernardo - Haaland - Foden Edited May 11, 2022 by Happy Blue Quote

Waylander Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Impressed with City holding their nerve against Klopp's Liverpool yet you have to say De Bruyne is playing at his peak. Phenomenal performance. 1 Quote

Happy Blue Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 (edited) Stuart Brennan from the Manchester Evening News says he picked City ahead of other leading European clubs for "emotional and football reasons" as he could have earned the same salary elsewhere. He has a genuine connection to City due to his father playing for the club and grew up a City fan and was a member of a Norwegian City supporters Facebook group until 2019. DeadLinesman Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 He picked Citeh because of financial and financial and financial reasons. Oh, and financial reasons. Stop kidding yourselves Quote

Well if his football career does not take off re injuries or something else he does remind me a little of Dolph Lundgren. 1 Quote
