Portugal have to avoid defeat to have a chance of qualification. If they finish 3rd, they will be assured of qualifying for knockout stages

That's a new level of stupid... xD 6 grownups can't tell the difference between Budapest and Bucharest, Hungary and Romania, and Ukrainians and Hungarians. French education system must be proud xD

This reminds me of the case of the Benfica  fan who went to Frankfurt an der Oder instead of Frankfurt am Main. 😂

Feel a bit sorry for him, to be honest xD But that's by far not as bad as the above case. I mean, nobody really expects a country to have two relatively large cities with the same name... xD

Also, love when a group is like this and all permutations (nearly) are possible on the final day. Will be exciting watch on top of the actual players and quality on show

Presuming both France and Germany win tonight, this is what the Round of 16 will likely look like:

Wales v Denmark in Amsterdam(The Netherlands)

Italy v Austria in London, Wembley(England)

Netherlands v Czech Republic in Budapest(Hungary)

Belgium v Portugal in Seville(Spain)

Croatia v Spain in Copenhagen(Denmark)

France v Switzerland in Bucharest(Romania)

England v Germany in London,Wembley(England)

Sweden v Ukraine in Glasgow(Scotland)

That combination of red and green of the portuguese kit is really beautiful.

Also, Mbappé on the Semedo flank could be a real nightmare for Portugal.

Pepe is doing well in babysitting him.

This line up looked better than the one against Germany and in practice it's also looking better. France are good at playing long passes for our backs but that's been pretty much it.

Definitely. Portugal looks much more cohesive and balanced with Renato Sanches on the midfield.

I guess this is the advantage of falling in the group of death. Your weaknesses are exposed before the elimination games and give you the chance to adjust.

Don't get why France had so many complaints. It's dangerous from Lloris not getting the ball and cleaning out the player.

Ronaldo dispatches the penalty! 1-0.

From the replay he also gets the elbow in there as well... clear penalty

He's looking super fresh and motivated. The way he uses his body is awesome.
