Spike
Controversial topic but sometimes I wonder how many Jews the Nazi did kill, I mean there are so many conflicting sources, some say 4mil, others say 6mil. I wonder if the number is inflated so Nazi officers would look better to their superiors. Somebody did the maths once and it turns out over six years the Nazis would have to have killed a Jew every 1.9 minutes or something ridiculous to get to 6mil. History is very fascinating and it's quite interesting how it changes because people to believe it to be so. Look at how a comic in England changed history's perception of Napoleon, he wasn't actually short but thanks to poor conversion from French to English it's popular culture that he was a midget. Devil-Dick Willie
The actual figure is probably closer to 2-3 mil. Horrific either way, genocide is genocide and I don't know why it's been inflated. But yes, many many issues concerning time and man power if it were 6 mil.
Eco
Throughout history the only thing for sure is that the country(s) that lose in the war, are made to look much worse in the history books. Not saying this is the case here, but it's always important to keep an open mind and not always believe what you hear or see on the internet. On a side note, I have a good buddy in my neighborhood. He's probably 70 or so and an absolute great guy, and Jewish. I was able to meet his mother-in-law who is a Holocaust survivor. Having never met one before, I was floored and will always think of her whenever I think that my life sucks. What an amazing woman.

If six million people were exterminated it can't be proven if they were all Jews as well. Could have just as easily rounded up some poor Polish villager to make up numbers or by mistake. Devil-Dick Willie
Hungarian grandfather was in the army, and he reckoned it's not much like history tells it. Take that with 10 pinches of salt though as he hated the jews and communists and was cheering when he got to invade Russia

Toinho
How many people are aware of the genocide of Germans after world war 2? The Savage Peace is a great documentary that tells and shows of the revenge parts of Europe undertook after the war ended. Eco
Man, I am absolutely exhausted. Had my 2 tennis match in as many days yesterday. Have another one today before I can take a couple of days off. I can't seem to get the house clean or ready for the return of my wife since so much tennis is taking so much out of me. My match on Tuesday took 3.5 hours, and last night took just under 3. I'm on pace to play 10 hours of competitive tennis in the span of 3 days.
