Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 26, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted March 26, 2022 A couple of things. All guesses of Vettel to go out in Q1 this weekend have automatically been replaced by Hulkenberg. In the event that the Random Driver retires from the race, I'll use the FIA classification to determine their position. For example, the last race would have gone down as Perez 18th, Verstappen 19th, Gasly 20th. This is to takeaway having to bother guessing "DNF" which will obviously sometimes happen.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 27, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted March 27, 2022 Results - Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Qualifying first, and nobody thought about predicting a Sergio Perez pole position, meaning nobody bagged the 5 points for Q3. There were points on offer in Q1 though. Nobody had Lewis Hamilton or, more surprisingly, Yuki Tsunoda to be in the bottom five, but almost everyone picked Hulkenberg (or Vettel) and the two Williams drivers. The only people not to pick up three points were @Coma, who backed Hulkenberg to make it out of the bottom five, and @Stan, who misplaced his faith in Albon to do the same. The race saw some big points scored, with almost everyone putting Verstappen and Leclerc as their top two. @Coma, @nudge, @DeadLinesman and @Whiskey all got the pairing the correct way around to pick up 10 points after their battle in the closing laps, but only @DeadLinesman managed to bag the full 20 points for a correct top three with Sainz in 3rd place. All four of these guys also pick up another 5 points for correctly predicting this weekend's random driver Max Verstappen to win the race. @Tommy, @OrangeKhrush and @MUFC all went for Leclerc, Verstappen, Sainz, picking up 9 points for their podium picks and nothing for the random driver. @Stan was the only one to hedge his bets by putting Verstappen 3rd on the podium but 2nd in random driver, scoring 6 points for having all three podium drivers correct. Finally, @RandoEFC ends up with 4 points for two correct podium drivers but in the wrong places. @JoshBRFC has given everyone a head start of two races because he is so confident of winning the championship with two races to spare. @DeadLinesman's bumper score of 28 points sees him overtake Round 1 leaders @Tommy and @nudge in the overall standings, who remain close behind. There's a gap to @Coma in 4th place while @Whiskey's 18 points this week see him move ahead of @MUFC into the top half. @OrangeKhrush, @Stan and @RandoEFC are the early backmarkers.
