Redcanuck Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Watching the crowd shots of Palace/Brentford, an awful lot of young kids, it's great to see. Is it bring your grandkids to match day or is this normal.
Happy Blue Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 From a fantasy football point of view will Haaland get rested
Danny Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Dominating the game so far but need chances to show for it now

Not having much luck rotating captains back and forth between Haaland, Salah and Jesus. At least don't come on the last 15 minutes, though he could probably score twice against a tired Forest.
Bluewolf Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 1-0 Sterling... Bit annoyed that he never passed the ball to Mount who was in space in the previous move.. Tried to do it all himself and lost the ball, sort of made up for it with his goal..
Danny Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Hickey has been phenomenal so far, the perks of having an actual right back.
Bluewolf Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 That didn't last long... 1-1 Lavia with a cracker of a goal...
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2022 First 15 of this has been so shite I might duck out already.
Danny Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Couple dodgy calls either way from the ref but largely he’s done a good job, hopefully he doesn’t buckle under the crowd

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2022 Scratch that. 0-1 Gordon scores the first time we managed to string more than two passes together.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2022 Rodrigo appears to have dislocated his shoulder in a fairly straightforward shoulder to shoulder battle with Pickford (yes Pickford sweeping up behind our slow centre backs). Painful one.
Rick Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Saints go ahead before the break. Jorginho making himself look a right muppet flailing about after a ball was chipped into his face.
Bluewolf Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 2-1 down at half time after leading 1-0 We are doing well....
Cicero Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I mean if Tuchel thinks he's safe under this new management he's incredibly wrong. The investors will obviously want a return on investment and finishing Top 4 is the bare minimum this season. Seeing Jorginho brushed aside like that for Saints 2nd. Would you ever see Fabinho get mugged off like that? Rodri? Partey? Casemiro? No, you wouldn't, and I've reiterated countless times over and over again that the more we rely on Jorginho the further way we will be from the pack. This is a regular thing from Jorginho and it honestly makes me want to break something he is still in the lineup. Embarrassing all around. No other words.
Danny Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Zaha been shut out of the game by Hickey, but gets one chance and scores a screamer. Frustrating as Palace haven’t actually had a decent chance on goal all game, but what a strike that was
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2022 Fair play to our organisation and defensive work but christ this is a hard watch.

I did say at the beginning of the season that if Tuchel has been active in choosing the players he feels he needs to win things then he will have to be accountable for that at some point if it fails to work... We just seem so lethargic...
Chickasaw Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Someone posted that Tuchel would be gone in the second season when he was appointed and another posted he'd be gone by Christmas this year. The match isn't over yet.
Redcanuck Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I like that Southampton keeper, looks like they made a good deal with City. He doesn't look very Irish though.

We just seem so lethargic... I was and still am suspect of Tuchel's ability to improve our attacking players and overall play. Tammy, Lukaku, Giroud, and now Werner are all killing it elsewhere. I also think going into the season believing Kovacic and Kante would randomly not be injury prone anymore is a Top 4 costing decision.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2022 Leeds equalise. Deserved. We have signings and injured players to come in still but if we keep failing this badly to match other team's intensity we're going to continue losing more than we win.
Chickasaw Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Late, late equaliser Brentford.................fortunate.
