Cicero Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Just get this over with. World Cup going to be a nice distraction of having to watch our shower of shit. Looking forward to the same underperformers underperforming.
Bluewolf Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Newcastle on a high and most of our lot with one eye on the World Cup will not be wanting to get themselves injured at this stage I suspect... A draw I reckon or the edge to Toons playing at home..
OrangeKhrush Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 st James park will be loud and the team will want this one, a win at spurs would be seen as massive but a win against Chelsea is big. we don't have that many going to the world cup, and most may not start or even get a game so the real fear of missing out should not be that big an issue, I would say they should be more concerned about staying in the club team. If Chelsea want to pull punches that's fine but I expect full commitment from black and whites

OrangeKhrush Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Been a very long time since we have been in the right side of the news.
Gunnersaurus Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Newcastle going in as favourites and the richer team against Chelsea seems odd

OrangeKhrush Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Wilson may be struggling to make the game with a lingering illness https://www.themag.co.uk/2022/11/chelsea-fans-saying-the-funniest-things-newcastle-united/ Not a whole lot of confidence amongst the Chelsea faithful
Honey Honey Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 First big game of the new era. Not sure what to expect to be honest, but least likely is the notion this won't be tough. Must win for Chelsea which makes this harder than otherwise in my eyes. We didn't play that well at Southampton and the first teamers who started in the league cup, bar Nick Pope, were off the pace as well.

Cicero Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 6 club products in the lineup. Has to be some sort of record for us. No idea where Potter expects the goals. Screams shitehousery.
Administrator Stan Posted November 12, 2022 Author Administrator Posted November 12, 2022 Newcastle seem quite toothless without Wilson. He offers a lot in terms of intelligent runs and movement off the ball. Wood doesn't give you that, but is much more of a threat at set-pieces.

LFCMadLad Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 The football Newcastle are playing is fantastic. Fair play x

OrangeKhrush Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 If wilson can't play i would be tempted to put ASM as a kind of False 9 just to try stretch the play, our transition is way to slow.
OrangeKhrush Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Lt Dan Burn has looked up for this game and Fleet Commander Trippier (thats normal), some guys look to be drifting, Bruno looks like he is thinking about Qatar.
Cicero Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Looking forward to the day we play football. No idea what we’ve been doing the past several months.
Cicero Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Just now, Spike said: How are Chelsea so shit? - Unbalanced squad filled with players of 5 different managers. - A manager that would rather complicate tactics vs keeping it simple. - Reece James and Kante injured. - Squad littered with with players low on confidence since February.

Bluewolf Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Well done Toons.. deserved, we have created nothing and I mean NOTHING... Thought we might have had a small glimmer of hope when I found out that Howe had won Manager of the month but alas I was only clutching at straws... 1 shot on target, do we even know where the opposition half is in these games??
