Have you got a clip of this https://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-premier-league/story/4734387/the-var-review-tottenhams-penaltyisak-offsideramsdale-foul he was onside, it also took 17 seconds before he put the ball in the net and no offside flag went up until Klopp went running down the line. VAR would have ruled the onfield call which was a goal. if the ball hits the Southampton defender first it doesn't matter if it hits Almiron as it would have played Wilson onside, very similar to the shocking decision against Forest when the defender kicked the ball into Longstaff. goals have been allowed where defenders pass back to an off side attacker who scores why is that not offside then?
Administrator Stan Posted May 2, 2023 Author Administrator Posted May 2, 2023 Cracking goal from Odegaard.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Bloody hell, Lampard has managed to get Chelsea to do some..........no wait, Chelsea go behind again. As you were.
Bluewolf Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 That's that then.... took longer than I thought for them to score

VAR would have ruled the onfield call which was a goal So you've referenced something that shows the correct decision was made If the lines for the attacker and defender touch, onside will be given. The picture in that link show the lines don't touch and that Isak is ahead of the defender. The linesman are instructed to delay the offside decision until the attacking chance is finished. That's just the rule, a crap one, but that is how it's done these days. I doubt it was to do with Klopp, as angry as he gets.
Administrator Stan Posted May 2, 2023 Author Administrator Posted May 2, 2023 Chelsea have absolutely no plan or tactic, do they? It's like each part of the team may know what to do, but none of those parts know how to link in with each other.
Administrator Stan Posted May 2, 2023 Author Administrator Posted May 2, 2023 That looked like handball by Fofana?
OrangeKhrush Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 the FA need to take Chelsea away from that Murican
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted May 2, 2023 Subscriber Posted May 2, 2023 Seriously what was the point from Lampard or Chelsea's perspective in getting him as interim? Destroying even more any remaining embers of hope he might have had to relaunch a managerial career at a reasonable level while they lose every remaining game in the season? They better at least beat Forest.
Moderator Tommy Posted May 2, 2023 Moderator Posted May 2, 2023 That's what you get for sacking Tuchel and driving him into the darms of the devil.
Rick Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Chelsea are in some mess aren’t they. Todd Boehly is a menace.
Administrator Stan Posted May 2, 2023 Author Administrator Posted May 2, 2023 Kante being used as a second striker to press, while Sterling was the one marking Odegaard speaks volumes.
...Dan Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 This is the easiest match we've had all season. Chelsea are so bad.

Administrator Stan Posted May 2, 2023 Author Administrator Posted May 2, 2023 It's just utterly nonsensical how Lampard is utilising these players. But it's okay, 'he knows the club'
6666 Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 This doesn't even feel like a big deal because of how bad Chelsea are.
Rick Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 I said it was a terrible appointment for both the club and Lampard himself. There was a reason he got sacked 18 months ago ffs.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted May 2, 2023 Subscriber Posted May 2, 2023 I've said for a while that the Super League Six have such an unassailable level of bedded in wealth and turnover that you could put the most incompetent person you could find in charge of things and never be threatened with relegation. Todd Boehly looks well set to put that claim to the test. He's an absolute clown.
Bluewolf Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 I could have lived with a dismal end to the season if we had hired a manager for the long term and not this gap fill... Every single game we don't have a proper manager gives whoever takes over in the end less and less time to get a feel for the players and who he might feel he could get something out of and who is the dead wood destined for the door...
