LFCMadLad Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 City losing Gundagan for nothing and down-grading at a cost of nearly £100m must hurt! Then again.. £100m is nothing to City.

Administrator Stan Posted June 27, 2023 Administrator Posted June 27, 2023 £100m for a back-up As if football wasn't broken already.

Bull shit. Rice is starting with KDB and Rodri. Foden will be back up RW given at the very least one of Mahrez/Silva are leaving.

No way should Grealish be starting over Foden too, think Pep's forced to play him because of the price tag ..i wouldnt see Rice as a back up, more of a rotation with Rodri where they will both get a good amount of games but pep could improve him and play him in a gundo role
Cicero Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Pep plays Grealish because he is the greatest chance creator in Europe from an English player since Lampard.

OrangeKhrush Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 this rice saga is getting stupid. teams need to learn how to boycott local. the price is not rice
Cicero Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 The fuck would Lampard and Gerrard cost in todays market.

6666 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Football fans really get caught up in transfer hype. "Just pay £100m and get it over with" like it's nothing. For a player that only had a decent season for a lower midtable side as well.
Honey Honey Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Really get the sense that Man City would buy him just so Arsenal can't. Hope he ends up at Arsenal.

Can Arsenal afford him though? I know they're not skint, but they're not exactly UAE level rich. Whereas for City, they just need people to keep filling their cars with petrol and they'll be fine. Granted this is the same club that spent £75m on that shit winger who's name I can't remember... was it Pepe? So what's an extra £25m for a midfielder that has demonstrated they won't look like a lost child in the league?

Administrator Stan Posted June 27, 2023 Administrator Posted June 27, 2023 The extra £5m just seems so pointless
Happy Blue Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 We should just go 80million in one payment and give them Phillips too
Happy Blue Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Looks like we have bid Arsenal up and walked away ..time to push for Valverde or Kimmich
