When I worked in food service the slip on, closed toe and heel crocs were the best footwear. Ugly? Of course, but they were light, slip resistant, easy to clean, durable, and comfy. I wear them sometimes still but not for fashion.

I always called them Flip-Flops, I don't mean the crocks though as I don't think they had crocks out there when I was there, I bought a pair of crocks over here once but I cut the strap at the back off as they were annoying me.

The crocks are ok wearing in the summer time as they were nice and easy to walk in but I would never wear them as dress footwear

Tommy worries me, maybe he has been on his own too long, he needs a good woman to slap him about when he making these crazy shopping decisions... On the other hand he might be doing it on purpose to keep people from approaching him..
