Bet the dipshit refs blame us for their mate getting sacked so we should probably get used to “inept” displays from them that are worse than their usual low standards.

I've not seen the two possible red card challenges as I missed the first 5 minutes or so, the still images don't look great. The refs overall performance was just really poor though. It's the little shitty decisions that disrupt our play. The more I see the one on Gomez the more I think it's a penalty.

I don’t think Fulham had any incidents that merited straight red cards. But I do think Diop & the guy who scored their first should have definitely gotten second yellows.

Weird ref performance because I think he got the big decisions right - but he got so many of the smaller decisions wrong. But when you look at it in the totality of the decisions made the little errors really make a big impact overall.

I get that it’s a hard job, but being so consistently bad at a job is mental to me. Normal people get sacked when little errors add up.

Come on mate even what you've said above is a bit of a stretch xD

One guy facing accountability for a series of videos that are indefensible isn’t going to change my mind that it’s a club of mates who protect their own. I trust them to have any integrity less than I’d trust Nigel Farage to not rally against immigrants the next time he’s on a TV screen.

They need a total overhaul before I ever start treating them reasonably. They simply don’t deserve the benefit of doubt.

They are awful but they're awful for everyone.

You cross the line of reasonable criticism when you stray into the realms of "they're probably out to get us because of Coote" and "they try and help City win the league because they go to UAE to referee games for their second job".

There's definitely a bit of a referees union in that they never call out a bad decision of one of their mates on television, and the way the accountability works with VAR definitely sets up some messed up incentives with the way some decisions are made, but to claim they favour or discriminate against certain clubs is just silly.

Today was always going to be a difficult one, Fulham are a very good side. Not seen the Robbo red card, but am I right to assume a very late challenge? He’s definitely going downhill in performances, barely makes runs forward anymore and is starting to get done regularly at the back. Got to the point where I’m hoping for Tsimikas to come back. Definitely need a LB in the summer.

Good result considering we were down to ten for most of it, and Arsenal faltering does us a favour. Hopefully Utd & Brentford do us one each tomorrow.

Yeah but it's not just you as Rando alludes to. You're not the only team that gets screwed over by refs.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that you get screwed over today because a bent and druggy ref got caught out recently. You're not being done over because of that.

Webb said the other day on the mic'd up programme that Ndidi should have seen red for a foul on Palmer (which I agree with) and that the ref got it wrong.

He fouled Wilson when he was last man. Too early to write him off yet. He's had a bit of a bad time with injuries and missed a lot of pre season if i recall. Players in this team have been written off before and come back just as strong.

I'll take a draw after the red card and also having Jota back which is big boost going into how many games he stays fit for.

Jota returning just in time for a customary goal or two against us on Boxing Day xD

We suck right now. Should be taking advantage of Liverpool dropping points but we can't break teams down. These are games we should be winning. Chelsea definitely look like their going to be the ones challenging Liverpool right now.

Maybe I’ve crossed the line with the cokehead ref allegation, but the City thing and their second jobs in the UAE is absolutely a criticism they’ve brought on themselves.

I think all clubs get fucked over by refs, except City and Newcastle & there’s a reason for it.

Could have put up a rugby score today,  we really put Leicester to the sword.

Lewis hall is probably the best english left back and he can still improve.

Jacob Murphy gives us the best balance at the moment, bar any improvements.

It's hard to say if Leicester are terrible or we just showed up for a change.

That was bordering on unprofessional. I don't really see how any player could complain if they were docked a weeks wages for that. A complete waste of everyone's time. Newcastle will never play an easier game at this level and I think I've said that about 4 times this season alone. I don't think we're the worst team in this league, but I think our off day is the worst, even more so than Southampton, Ipswich and Wolves.

Just a complete battering from a quite out of sorts side themselves. Total disgrace. One of my big measures of Van Nistelrooy is how ruthless he is and how quickly he bins half this lot to Trabzonspor.

Not just this season, been on the wain for 18 months. Nothing to be ashamed of, he did years of box to box running for Klopp, and I think his legs have gone.

We are terrible. But I do think your ceiling performance is pretty high and our floor is very low. Doesn't surprise me that we've been battered.

I was relieved when it ended 4-0. That really could've easily piled up to 7/8.

I think you're making that judgement far too early but we'll see.

Ward on at half time. Game over without the 2nd half starting.

It's an absolute disgrace that he's playing in this league in 2024. What a two fingers up at the fans - again.

I can't get my head around what Wolves are doing this season. That squad is easily good enough for this to be a "bad start, new manager bounce, had a scare but now we're sound" season.

They've stuck with O'Neil and catastrophically lost 3 on the bounce to other teams in the bottom seven. Conceded an average of 2.5 goals per game. Their players are being dragged down the tunnel after the final whistle. They're more than a win from 17th place after today. It's a full blown crisis now. It'll be absolutely astonishing if they don't sack him ahead of the Leicester game.

Leicester 2022/23 all over again. Whether they go the full way remains to be seen but the signs are there.

Leicester v Wolves next week. I know things aren't decided on head to head games in December but that does feel a pretty pivotal one. All season long the nerds have pretty much flipped between us and them for 18th.

There's a part of me that wonders if we both go and fall to Ipswich. Ipswich remind me a bit of us in our first season up a decade ago - a very limited but never say die attitude, often close and I wonder if they'll put a bit of a run together at some point.

We're the worst side in this league defensively. Embarrassing when Russell Martin manages a team in the league. Barely believable to be honest.

It was not dead for a while and watching Isak miss that easy one on one made me get feelings we are all to familiar with where we boss the game and dont put it away.   Brighton and West Ham were two games we failed to turn dominance into goals and got punished.

The problem with this season is we cannot build a string of games,  we can go from a good result into an abject performance.

How did get it right playing Tonali as a 6 and letting Bruno play more.

Watched the highlights of our game on MOTD. The Diop challenge is a shocker, it's knee height. Surprised you didn't think that was a red @Dr. Gonzo.

Robertson shouldn't have been sent off either having seen it back.

Brighton about to lose at home to Palace after drawing with Leicester, Wolves, Ipswich and Southampton.

They'd be 1 point behind Liverpool if they could beat bottom six opponents .
