Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 3, 2019 Superb from Keane to make that tackle. Salah letting himself down again though.

He’s come back from an injury and hasn’t gotten much of a look since then, just one appearance. I think taking Gini off was a mistake though. The midfield looks more open for them now.
Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 3, 2019 Fabinho needs to be hitting that first time. Good last-ditch defending again from Everton though.

Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 3, 2019 Liverpool are definitely going to end up winning this 1-0 . Standard course of events after a mildly under-whelming derby.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted March 3, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 3, 2019 I think Liverpool's O button is broken. Everytime it looks like they're in and you're thinking... Shoot, it's one too many touches or an unnecessary pass.
The Artful Dodger Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 This would be an OK result for Liverpool if the Manchester Derby would be the same but it won't, Manchester United fans want Manchester City to win.

Rick Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Urghhhhhhhh. Front three have been fucking awful today.
Burning Gold Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Must be something wrong with Shaqiri if Lallana's coming on because he's shit. Even setting quality aside, he's just not an impact player while Shaqiri unquestionably is
The Artful Dodger Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Ive defended this derby but it is the worst in quality by none.
Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 3, 2019 Tempo has picked up last 15 or so minutes. Everton the catalysts but quality lacking as they attack.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 3, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 3, 2019 Doesn't the World Cup final go to extra time and penalties?
Rick Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Not fucking good enough that. Unless Utd do us a favour in the derby then we can definitely kiss the title goodbye. Personally, I don't think we will be too again this season. Been mediocre since the start of the year with a couple of good results sprinkled in, but we don't look like winning the league at this rate.
Cicero Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 City have Mahrez, Jesus, and Sane/Silva to come on and change the game. Liverpool have Lallana, Sturridge, and Shaqiri. The difference.

Inverted Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Never seen a group of players go from having some of the best chemistry I've ever seen one season to being so bad as Liverpool's front 3. Literally don't think anyone would laugh if you said Mane-Firmino-Salah was the best forward line in Europe last season. Mental to look at them now.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 3, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 3, 2019 Good performance from us, too bad we couldn't find the decisive goal to really two-foot their title challenge. Liverpool's struggles up front becoming a worrying trend for them now. Firmino spent the last 30 minutes giving the ball to Gueye. Mane anonymous and Salah snatching at his chances. Luckily for them City have been somewhat unconvincing in their last two wins so both could drop points in the run in. Have to take a particular satisfaction in the disappointment of some of the more arrogant Kopites on Twitter who thought they'd turn up and whip us 3-0. Thankfully the ones who frequent this particular corner of the internet are more balanced.
