Going back to when I was very young, 5 years old, it was...

Bill & Ben the Flower Pot Men, Andy Pandy, Picture Book, Rag Tag & Bob Tail, Twizzel. The Micky Mouse Club etc.

When I got older around 10-12 years old it would be shows like...

Roy Rogers, The Cisco Kid, Superman, Zorro, Davy Crocket, Wyatt Earp, The Rifle Man etc.

Cartoons:

Teenage mutant ninja turtles, X-Men, Thunder Cats, He-Man, Doug, Hey Arnold, Arthur, Wacky Races, Tom and Jerry...

The likes of Wacky Races were obviously before my time but were still always on cartoon channels when I was a kid. Absolute classics.

General TV Programmes:

Fresh Prince, Kenan and Kel, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Saved by the bell, Maid Marian and her merry men, Chuckle Vision, Byker Grove...

You're showing your age with this list Inga ;)

I forgot about the A-Team and also cartoons such as Pink Panther, although they don't stick in my head like the high action super-hero cartoons which is what a hyper kid like me required. The Road runner is also a great shout and I also forgot about the Tazmanian devil.

@Gunnersauraus Serious cartoon.

I could probably even watch them back now and enjoy them.

I actually watched a bit of it on you tube. When I was young I didn't quite understand that it was making a reference to really issues with racism ect. It's quote interesting that when I was young I always got that there were bad mutants and good mutants and people were saying all mutants were bad. Which is the same attitude i have now. One thing I don't like about the film's is that the sentinels are only in one where as in the cartoon they had  a significant part

How the fuck did I forget The Simpsons xD

Not really a kids show, that's why

It isn't exactly an adult cartoon but it also can't really be qualified as strictly for kids.

I watched it as a kid though. For me it's a kids show. Even if it does mean understanding some of the jokes when you're a bit older.

You're just as old as me now... for a few more months at least hehe.

Tazmanian devil was great! I still have a plush Taz that I got as a gift for my birthday over twenty years ago xD

A-Team doesn't count as a kids show I guess, but I grew up watching it, so....

Renegade was another TV show I loved growing up. Does anyone else remember it?
