  1. Another thing about the idea that negotiating out of a No Deal scenario seems to not account for is that we're not accounting for being in a weaker position at the negotiation table. Take for instance this: https://www.buzzfeed.com/amphtml/alexspence/canada-is-refusing-to-roll-over-its-eu-trade-agreement-for - British outrage that Canada won't roll over it's EU trade deal with the UK if we have a No Deal scenario on our hands. But that position is mental because it's not taking into account what Canada will be seeing if they're to negotiate with Britain outside of the EU. They're in a position to get a better deal out of the UK than they would get from the EU, Canadian governments are going to represent Canadian interests, not British interests. Why on earth would the UK's negotiators expect Canada to roll the EU trade deal over to the UK if the UK is no longer in the EU? It's like the notion that the EU wouldn't be negotiating with the UK on Brexit with the distinct upperhand. It only makes sense if you only consider the UK's perspective and ignore the fact they're going to be negotiating with people that have different interests. And I'm not sure how on earth we're supposed to be okay with negotiators that don't seem to understand this basic concept of negotiating and being realistic about the prospects of what other countries' positions might be.

  2. This is 7 days old, but if this sale is still going on: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/a-great-gaming-headset-is-on-sale-for-30-at-best-b/1100-6467958/ IMO the headsets you can get for 20-30 are going to be significantly shittier than the ones you can get for $50-60 (on average), so that's a good deal.

  4. That's called being tactically diverse, not adopting Mou's philosophy. Adopting Mou's philosophy would be sticking 11 men behind the ball 98% of the time and wondering why the fuck you are 8th.

  6. It's very light hearted but touches on some decent subjects and has it's serious moments as well.. There are a few decent laughs in it without all the canned laughter going on which was a plus for me.. I personally enjoyed it and and it's just finished it's second season...

  7. @nudge Just watched ep 10 of The Son which I assume is the finale. It actually wraps up quite a bit, overall im satisfied with how the season ended and it did pick up after the first few. I probably wont miss it too much though

  8. Good fun at Edgbaston so far. Given the start and solid innings from Sharma I'd have liked more than 314 on the board. Should have been getting 330-340. Bangladesh shouldn't be taken lightly...

  10. Yep I haven’t got the time to read one of his posts let alone counter it, he was hysterical about it a year ago he’s still hysterical now. It’s over the die is cast live with it Yeah topic is mute, far more relevant is to what sort of exit we will actually get be it no deal or some kind of deal, if it’s Mays deal my preference is for a no deal. Also ridicule is a fair point, considering Leave won and both parties at the next general election that promised to back Leave dominated, there has been a concentrated effort from large portions of the remain leaning media and our national broadcaster to portray Brexit as a lashing out of middle England racists. Its much more complex than that, it’s arguably far more about financial disparity between London and other parts of the U.K. coupled with other hot topics such as immigration, fisheries, Agriculture etc and right through to views on political governance, one of mine is I’m more libertarian and I would like a general decrease in the amount of politics and bureaucracy in general. I’m a Tory voter that would abolish the House of Lords after all But on here and for the most part it’s “all thick racists who love Farage” it’s tedious and I quickly stopped engaging mostly with it now tbh. Danny & Balon are worst it’s been constant for 18 months now. They’re literally like my toddlers

  11. Marcus Rashford is an amazing player to have in the correct environment. I would say he would play in almost any first XI anywhere if playing on confidence. If Özil is on more money, then he deserves what he’s gotten because he’s a hell of a lot more influential.

  13. “Pierre is having a tough time at the moment, we’re doing our best to support him, I think he just needs a reset,” said Horner. “I think we have got to somehow go ‘control alt delete’ in his head and start again. “He is a quick driver. The problem he has got is that Max is delivering every week, and that puts more pressure on him to perform, but we’re sticking by him. “We still believe in him and we’ll give him all the support we can to try and nurture the talent we know he has.” Red Bull, and sister team Toro Rosso, has previously demoted or dropped drivers struggling for form, but Horner has stressed that such a scenario is not under consideration regarding Gasly. “There is no intention to change Pierre,” said Horner. “He’s our driver, we’re going to work with him, we will try to get the best out of him. “He’s having a tough time at the moment but we will do our best to support him through it.” https://www.motorsportweek.com/news/id/23490?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Seems they still believe in him!
